Blue and Gold Winter Nails with Essie and Konad

Hi there,

wer Blau nicht mag, bitte nicht weiter scrollen, Ihr werdet gleich viel davon sehen :-).

Heute möchte ich Euch ein Design mit Essie Nagellacken zeigen: als Basislack habe ich den herrlichen blauen „Butler please“ und als Stamping Lack wieder mal „Good as gold“ verwendet. Ich finde diese Kombi sehr, sehr festlich.

Today I would like to show a nail design with Essie nail polishes: as base polish I used the gorgeous blue „Butler please“ and as stamping polish „Good as Gold“ again. I find this combination very, very festive.

Und was passt besser dazu als eine festlich-winterliche Stamping Schablone? Ich habe bei diesen Farben direkt an Konad Square Image Plate 10 gedacht. Letztes Jahr kam sie leider schon nach Weihnachten bei mir an. Jetzt, wo der Winter gerade wieder um die Ecke schaut, habe ich genug Zeit, mich damit auszutoben.

And what would go better with it than a festive wintery stamping plate? Seeing both colors together, I thought directly about Konad Square Image Plate 10. Last year it unfortunately arrived to me after Christmas. Now, when the winter is just around the corner, I have enough time, to play with it.

Carnival nails with P2, Essie, Mundo de Unas & MoYou

Hi there,

inspiriert von Karnevalsbildern aus Venedig, habe ich heute ein gold-blaues Karnevalsdesign. Ich hoffe, irgendwann mal dieses faszinierende und farbenfrohe Spektakel live in Venedig erleben zu können :-).

inspired by carnival pictures of Venice, I have a gold-blue carnival design today. I hope someday to be able to experience this fascinating and colorful spectacle live in Venice :-).

Als Basislack habe ich P2 220 „hyper“ genommen. Es ist einer der ältesten Nagellacke in meiner Sammlung, ich bin aber mit ihm immer noch genauso zufrieden, wie beim ersten Lackieren. Es ist ein sehr schöner heller Goldton, der Lack lässt sich wunderbar und beinahe streifenlos auftragen (was öfters das Problem bei Metallics ist) und deckt mit zwei Schichten. Darüber habe ich mit dem Stamping Lack von Mundo de Unas „Iris“ das Wellenmotiv von der Schablone „Sailor Collection – 04“ gestampt.

As a base polish I took P2 220 „hyper“. It is one of the oldest nail polishes in my collection, but I’m still as happy with it as I was polishing it for the first time. It is a very beautiful bright golden color, the polish applies wonderfully and almost without streaks (which is often the problem with metallics) and covers with two layers. Then I used the stamping polish by Mundo de Unas „Iris“ and stamped the wave image from the plate“Sailor Collection – 04″ .

Auf den Akzent-Nagel kam der blaue „Butler please“ von Essie, den ich bereits in diesem Post gezeigt habe. Das gestampte Image ist von der Moyou Schablone „Explorer Collection – 13“, die mit ihren tollen Masken perfekt zum Thema passt. Zum Stampen habe ich „good as gold“ von Essie benutzt.

For the accent nail I used the blue“Butler please“ by Essie, which I have already shown in this post. The stamped image is from the Moyou plate „Explorer Collection – 13″, which is perfect for the carnival theme, the mask images are amazing. For stamping I used“good as gold“ by Essie

Marine Nails with Essie „Butler please“, „Beyond Cozy“ and Born Pretty BP-33

Ahoy there,

hoffe, Ihr könnt viel Blau vertragen. Es wird heute nämlich sehr blaulastig bei mir 🙂 .Ich nehme an einer Facebook Challenge unter dem Motto „Stamping over a blue base“ teil. Als ich das Thema gesehen habe, hatte ich direkt einen passenden Kandidaten im Auge: „Butler please“ von Essie. Es ist ein wunderbarer, sehr deckender Lack im strahlenden Blau. Man braucht nur 1-2 Schichten für ein deckendes Ergebnis. Kombiniert habe ich es mit „Beyond cozy“ – einem Glitzerlack von Essie in Weißgold. Ich verwende es sehr oft in Wintermonaten, besonders zu Weihnachtszeit. Es sieht so festlich aus und eignet sich auch wunderbar für Glitzer-Akzente.

I hope you can tolerate plenty of blue color. Today’s blog post has really much blue 🙂 . I am participating in a Facebook challenge under the motto „Stamping over a blue base“. As I saw the topic, I directly had a suitable candidate in mind: „Butler please“ by Essie. It is a wonderful, very opaque nail polish in bright blue. You only need 1-2 coats for the opaque result. I combined it with „Beyond cozy“ – a glitter polish by Essie in white gold. I use it very often in the winter months, especially at Christmas time. It looks so festive and is also wonderful for glitter accents.

Die maritime Born Pretty BP-33 Schablone von Born Pretty Store, die ich diese Woche zugesandt bekommen habe, passte perfekt zum Thema. Blau und Marine-Motive sind doch wie geschaffen füreinander. Ausprobiert habe ich gleich mehrere Images. Alle wurden perfekt übertragen.

The BP-33 stamping plate with navy images by Born Pretty Store, which I received this week, fit the topic perfectly. Blue color and navy patterns are simply made for each other. I stamped several images from the plate. All of them were perfectly transferred.
