Yellow roses with Essence, Mundo de Unas and UBERCHIC BEAUTY

Hi there,

„Was hast denn du da auf den Nägeln?“, grinste vor ein paar Wochen ein Kollege, als ich mit gelb lackierten Nägeln im Büro erschien :). Zugegeben, gelbe Nagellacke sind sehr auffällig und sind nicht jedermanns Sache. Ich mag sie aber, besonders zarte Gelb-Nuancen. Und der oben erwähnte Nagellack „Love is in the air“ von Essence trifft voll meinen Farbgeschmack. Es ist ein cremiges Pastellgelb, deckt in zwei Schichten und ist für mich die absolute Frühlingsfarbe.

„What on earth is this?“, a colleague grinned at my nail polish, as I appeared with yellow painted nails in the office a few weeks ago :). Granted, yellow nail polishes are very striking and are not for everyone, but I like them, especially soft yellow shades. And the above-mentioned nail polish „Love is in the air“ by Essence is totally my color taste. It is a creamy pastel yellow, covers in two layers, and for me is the absolute spring color.

Meine Tochter hat übrigens auch ein Auge darauf geworfen und fand, es sei die perfekte Farbe, um in einem unbeobachteten Moment unseren Bodenfliesen einen individuellen Touch zu verpassen. Der Moment war nicht lang genug, um ihr kreatives Projekt zu Ende zu bringen, also habe ich noch etwas Nagellack für das Foto hier übrig.

Incidentally, my daughter also cast an eye at it and found, this is the perfect color to bring a personal touch to our floor tiles in an unobserved moment. The moment was not long enough to bring her creative project to the end, so there is some nail polish left for the picture here.

„Love is in the air“ habe ich zwei Tage lang solo getragen, bevor das Stamping darauf kam. Kombiniert habe ich das Gelb mit dem „Blue Gray“ Stamping Nagellack von Mundo de Unas und zwei floralen Mustern von der wunder-wunderschönen Stamping Schablone von ÜberChic Beauty 1-02.

I wore „love is in the air“ solo two days long, before I decorated it with stamping. I paired yellow with the „Blue Gray“ stamping nail polish by Mundo de Unas and two floral images from the wonderful stamping plate by UberChic Beauty 1-02.

Wood and flowers

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

Ich bin in der letzten Zeit voll auf Frühlingskurs, also noch ein blumiges Design heute. Nicht zuletzt wegen meiner neuen Stamping Schablonen von Moyra „10 Florality 2“ und „07 Labyrinth„, die ich absolut bezaubernd finde und die mich für dieses Design inspiriert haben.

I have got in the spring mood lately, so one more floral design today. Not least because of my new stamping plates by Moyra „10 Florality 2“ and „07 Labyrinth„, which (I think) are absolutely adorable and have inspired me for this nail art.

Als Erstes habe ich zwei Schichten Dance Legend 342 aufgetragen. Von ihm habe ich bereits geschrieben und erinnere mich regelmäßig an dieses Himmelsblau, wenn es um frühlingshafte Nail Arts geht.

First, I applied two layers Dance Legend 342. I have already written about this nail polishand remember regularly this sky blue, when it comes to spring nail arts.

Auf den Akzentnagel kamen zwei Schichten „33 wild white ways“ von Essence. Danach habe ich die Nägel (bis auf den Mittelfinger) mit dem Holzmuster von der Labyrinth Platte und dem „Blue Gray“ Stamping Nagellack von Mundo de Unas gestampt.

On the accent nail I applied two layers of „33 wild white ways“ by Essence. Then I stamped the nails (up to the middle finger) with the wood pattern from the „Labyrinth“ plate usiing „Blue Gray“ stamping nail polish by Mundo de Unas.

Als blumigen Akzent habe ich die Blüten von Florality 2 mit dem „Dark Gray“ von Mundo de Unas gestampt und diese mit P2 629 „running hot“und Dance Legend Top Coat Aquarelle „Botticelli“ direkt auf dem Nagel ausgemalt. Für echtere „Holzoptik“ sorgte der L’Oréal Top Coat Matte.

As flowery accent I stamped the flowers from „Florality 2“ with the „Dark Gray“ by Mundo de Unas and painted those with P2 629 „running hot“ and Dance Legend Top Coat Aquarelle „Botticelli“ directly on the nail. Finally, L’Oréal Top Coat Matte provided more real „wood look“ .

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis und hoffe, Ihr mögt es auch.

Red Flower Nails with Picture Polish, Moyra and Mundo de Unas

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

heute etwas mehr Farbe im Blog mit dem roten „Arabian“ von Picture Polish. Der Lack ist eine echte Augenweide sowohl im Fläschchen, als auch auf den Nägeln – definitiv das schönste Rot in meiner Sammlung. Von der Textur ist es ein gut deckender Jelly-Lack mit goldenem Schimmer und Holo-Flocken – wie ein Geschenk aus 1001 Nacht: orientalisch, opulent und farbenfroh. Ein Problem, welches ich mit ihm jedoch habe, ist die Haltbarkeit. Er hält einfach nicht lange auf meinen Nägeln. Das erste Mal habe ich es am 30. Dezember lackiert, voller Vorfreude, mit dieser Schönheit Silvester zu feiern. Die vorsilvesterliche Putz-, Koch- und Abspülaktion hat der Lack nicht überstanden, die Nägel haben bereits am nächsten Mittag jämmerlich ausgesehen. Jetzt habe ich den zweiten Anlauf mit dem Lack gestartet und es in drei Schichten lackiert in der Hoffnung, das es mit drei Coats länger hält. Das Ergebnis: die ersten Absplitterungen kamen am dritten Tag, was in meinen Augen bei dem Lack in dieser Preiskategorie einem schon weh tut. Mein persönliches Fazit: Ich werde „Arabian“ zu besonderen Anlässen tragen, da der Lack ohne Zweifel wunderschön ist und alle Blicke auf sich zieht. Lackieren werde ich es jedoch erst am Abend davor, um unangenehme Überraschungen mit Absplitterungen zu vermeiden.

Today a little more color in the blog with the red „Arabian“ by Picture Polish. This nail polish is a real eyeful in the bottle, as well as on the nails – definitely the nicest red in my collection. From the texture, it is a good covering jelly nail polish with golden shimmer and holo flakies – like a gift from 1001 nights: oriental, opulent and bright. However, one problem, that I have with it, is the durability. It simply does not last long on my nails. The first time I applied „Arabian“ on December 30, full of anticipation to celebrate New Year’s Eve with this beauty . Unfortunately, the nail polish did not survive my pre New Year’s Eve cleaning, cooking and dish rinsing activities, the nails looked miserably already the next afternoon. Now I started the second attempt with the polish and painted it in three layers in the hope, that it lasts longer with three coats. The result: first chips came on the third day, what really hurts (regarding the price category of the nail polish). My personal conclusion: I’ll wear „Arabian“ on special occasions, as the polish is undoubtedly beautiful and attracts everyone’s attention. However, I will apply it only the night before in order to avoid unpleasant surprises with chipping.

Kombiniert habe ich den Lack mit dem Blüten-Image von der Moyra Stamping Schablone 06 „Florality 1“ und dem Nagellack für Stamping Mundo de Unas „White“.

Das Stamping ist schlicht gehalten, der rote Nagellack ist ja schon ein Eyecatcher an sich. Hoffe, es gefällt Euch.

The stamping is plain, the red nail polish is already an eye-catcher in itself. I hope, you like it.

Flower Nails with P2, Mundo de Unas and Bundle Monster

Hi there,

in meinem Herbstdekowahn diese Woche wollte ich auch auf Nägeln etwas herbstliches haben. Geworden sind es Nägel in beerigen Tönen von p2: „692 hurry up!“ und „070 insider’s diary“.  „Hurry up!“ ist ein toller Fuchsia-Ton, recht knallig und sticht sofort ins Auge. Der Lack hat Creme-Finish und deckt in zwei Schichten. „Insider’s diary“ habe ich seit einem Jahr und liebe es sehr. Der Lack ist aus der Leather Matte-Reihe, und die Kombination aus dem Leder-Finish und der Farbe ist für mich Herbst pur: raues beeriges Dunkelrot, in zwei Schichten deckend.

in my autumn decoration mania this week I wanted to have something autumnal on my nails, too. It ended in berry shades nails with p2 polishes: „692 hurry up!“ and „070 Insider’s Diary“. „Hurry up!“ Is an amazing fuchsia shade, quite bright and catches the eye immediately . The nail polish has cream-finish and covers in two coats. As for „Insider’s Diary“, I bought it a year ago and love it very much. The polish is from p2 Leather Matte series, and the combination of the leather finish and the color is pure Autumn for me: rough dark berry red, covering in two coats .

Als Stamping Motiv habe ich die Blumen von der Bundle Monster Stamping Schablone BM-XL155  gewählt.

Für das Design habe ich alle Nägel mit „hurry up!“ lackiert, und auf dem Mittel- und Ringfinger Streifen mit „Insiders’s diary“ gemacht. Damit die Streifen gerade sind, habe ich Striping Tape verwendet: je drei Stripes pro Nagel geklebt, die „Zwischenräume“ mit „Insiders’s diary“ lackiert und das Tape wieder abgezogen. Zum Stampen habe ich den Mundo de Unas Stamping Lack „50 Pale Rose“ genommen. Danach kam eine Schicht Topcoat auf alle Nägel.

For this design I polished my nails with „hurry up!“ and made strips on the middle and ring finger with „insider’s diary“. To make strips straight, I used striping tape: I placed three strips per nail, painted the „gaps“ with „insider’s diary“ and peeled off the tape . For stamping I used Mundo de Unas stamping polish „50 Pale Rose“. Then I added a layer of topcoat on all nails.
