Dragon Nails with OPI, Ciate and Messy Mansion

Hi there,

heute mal zur Abwechslung kein Blümchen-Design :-).

no floral design today (for a change)  🙂 .

Es ist dank der Schablone von Messy Mansion MM21 eher etwas mittelalterliches geworden. Für Liebhaber von Märchen und Legenden wäre diese Stampingplatte bestimmt sehr interessant.

Thanks to the stamping plate MM21 by Messy Mansion it became rather something medieval. For lovers of tales and legends, this stamping plate would certainly be very interesting.

Als Nagellacke für das Design habe ich OPI „DS Classic“ und Ciate „Twilight“gewählt, die meiner Meinung nach perfekt zusammenpassen. „DS Classic“ ist ein Hololack in Beige – Gold, wobei ich hier kein starkes Holoeffekt beobachten kann. Dafür hat der Lack aber einen schönen Schimmer, ist dezent, absolut bürotauglich (klassisch eben), ideal im Auftrag und ist eine gute Basis für Stamping. Ciate „Twilight“ mit seiner dunklen Base und goldenem Schimmer ist in meinen Augen sehr geheimnisvoll, mystisch und einfach nur wunderschön. Und es war einer der Gründe, wieso das Design überhaupt entstand 🙂 .

As nail polishes for the design I chose OPI „DS Classic“ and Ciate „Twilight“, which perfectly fit together in my opinion. „DS Classic“ is a holographic nail polish in beige / gold. I do not see strong holographic effect here. But the polish has a nice shimmer, is delicate, absolutely suitable for the office (really classic), ideal in application and is a good basis for stamping. Ciate „Twilight“ with its dark base and golden shimmer is very mysterious, mystical and absolutely beautiful in my eyes. And it was one of the reasons, why I created this nailart 🙂 .

Die Drachen von der MM21 Schablone habe ich mit dem Stamping Lack „2 Black“ von Mundo de Unas gestampt. Wie findet Ihr das Ergebnis?

Oriental Nails with Nails inc., Essence and Messy Mansion

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

heute möchte ich Euch einen sehr herbstlichen Lack zeigen, den ich bei TK Maxx entdeckt und gekauft habe: „New Burlington Place“ von Nails Inc. Es ist ein Duochrome / Metallic Nagellack mit richtig viel Schimmer. Der Lack ist nicht stark deckend (ich habe drei dünne Schichten gebraucht), dafür lässt er sich wunderbar auftragen, trocknet schnell und bildet absolut keine Streifen, wie es bei den meisten Metallics der Fall ist.  Cranberry. Bronze, Orange und Gold in einem – von diesem Farbspiel auf den Nägeln war ich absolut verzaubert.

today I’d like to show you a very autumnal nail polish, which I discovered and bought in TK Maxx store: „new burlington place“ by Nails Inc. It is a duochrome / metallic nail polish with lots of shimmer. The polish is not very opaque (I needed three thin layers), but it applies beautifully, dries quickly and is not streaky at all (as an opposite to the most metallics). Cranberry, bronze, orange and gold in one nail polish – I was absolutely enchanted by this play of colors on my nails .

Die Messy Mansion Stamping Schablone MM13 und „New Burlington Place“ waren ein ideales Paar in meinen Augen. Das Feuerwerk der warmen Farben war einfach eine perfekte Unterlage für diese prachtvollen orientalischen Muster. Als Stamping Lack habe ich Essence „Stamp me“ black verwendet.

The Messy Mansion stamping plate MM13 and „new burlington place“ were the ideal couple in my opinion. The fireworks of warm colors was a great base for these magnificent oriental patterns. As stamping polish I used Essence „Stamp me“ black.

Falls Ihr einen Tipp habt, wo man Messy Mansion Schablonen in Europa kaufen kann, wäre ich Euch sehr dankbar. Ich habe meine Schablonen schon vor einer halben Ewigkeit bei Messy Mansion direkt gekauft, in der Zwischenzeit liefern sie nicht mehr nach Deutschland. Jammerschade! Es gibt so viele neue Messy Mansion Platten mit traumhaften Mustern, an  die man einfach nicht rankommt 😦

If you have a tip, where I can buy Messy Mansion stamping plates in Europe, I would be very grateful. I bought my plates at Messy Mansion directly some years ago, in the meantime, they do not deliver to Germany. What a pity! There are so many new Messy Mansion plates with fantastic patterns in store and there is no chance to buy them :-(.

Bird Nails with Maybelline „grey beats“ and Messy Mansion MM14

Hi there,

heute habe ich ein ganz einfaches Design mit einer meiner Lieblingsschablonen – Messy Mansion MM14.  So viele wunderschöne Vogelmotive auf einer Platte!

Today I have a very simple design with one of my favourite stamping plates – Messy Mansion MM14. So many beautiful bird images on one plate!

Gestampt habe ich mit Essence „Stamp me“ black über Maybelline 400 „grey beats“ aus der Colorshow Vinyl LE. Für mich ist es die perfekte Base für Nail Arts. Es ist ein sehr elegantes und dezentes Grau. Man braucht zwei Schichten für die Volle Deckkraft, es trocknet schnell und hat ein super interessantes semimattes Finish.

I stamped with Essence „Stamp me“ black over Maybelline 400 „grey beats“ from Colorshow Vinyl limited edition. For me, it is a perfect base for Nail Arts. It’s very elegant and delicate grey. You need two coats for full opacity, it dries quickly and has a very interesting semimatte finish.

Sally Hansen „Shore enough“ and „Midnight in NY“ with Stamping (MM-44, LS-03)

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

das heutige Design würde ich „Love and Lace“ nennen.
Hauptdarsteller sind hier Sally Hansen „Shore enough“ und „Midnight in NY“.

„Shore enough“ ist ein beiger Creme-Lack mit guter Deckkraft (deckt in 2 Schichten) und einem sehr bequemen Pinsel. Der Lack ist mir etwas zu „nude“, um ihn  solo zu tragen, aber ich benutze es sehr gerne als Basis für Designs,  z.B. hier  (Stamping mit Ornamenten) oder hier (Halloween-Design). Diesmal wollte ich damit was romantisch-verführerisches kreieren.

Der Zweite im Duo ist „Midnight in NY“. Es ist ein wunderschöner leicht schimmernder schwarzer Lack. Ich habe ziemlich viele Nagellacke und es ist recht ungewöhnlich, wenn ich einen von ihnen öfters benutze. „Midnight in NY“ gehört aber dazu. An meinen „Nail Design“-freien Tagen greife ich meistens zu diesem Schwarz – sieht wundervoll aus, deckt gut und trocknet schnell. Außerdem kann man damit stampen.

Kombiniert habe ich beide Lacke mit 2 Stamping Schablonen: LS-03 und MM-44.

In das Motiv mit der wunderschönen jungen Frau von der Lesly Stamping Schablone – 03 war ich auf den ersten Blick verliebt und wollte es unbedingt zu einem Mittelpunkt in einem romantischen Design machen.

Die Messy Mansion Schablone MM-44 passte meiner Meinung nach perfekt dazu. Ich liebe Spitze und die Motive auf der Schablone haben mich einfach umgehauen. Sind sie nicht großartig?

Hi there,

I would describe my latest nail design as „Love and Lace“ .
The main characters here are Sally Hansen “ Shore enough“ and “ Midnight in NY “ .

„Shore enough“ is a beige creme nail polish  with good coverage (perfect opaqueness in 2 coats) and a very comfortable brush. The polish is too „nude“ for me to wear it solo, but I use it very ooften as a base for designs, e.g. here (Stamping with ornaments ) or here (Halloween design) . This time I wanted to create with this polish something romantic and seductive.

The second one in the duo is “ Midnight in NY „. It is a beautiful slightly shimmering black nail polish. I have quite a few nail polishes and it is unusual , if I use one of them often. “ Midnight in NY “ is this exception. On most of my „nail design“-free days I reach for  this black – looks wonderful , covers well and dries quickly. And you can also stamp with it.

I combined both polishes with two stamping plates: LS-03 and MM-44.

I was in love with the design with the beautiful young woman from the Lesly Stamping Plate LS-03 at first sight and was dying to make it a focal point in a romantic design.

The Messy Mansion stamping plate MM-44 fit in my opinion perfectly. I love lace and the images on the plate blew me away. Aren’t they great?
