Dandelion Nails with Konad, MoYou, Essence and Ciaté

Hi there,

heute ein kleines Design von mir, welches ich für den MoYou „New Year’s Resolutions Nails“ Contest gemacht habe.

Die Idee dahinter ist: man braucht nicht unbedingt teure Sachen und traumhafte Orte, die Tausende Kilometer weit entfernt liegen, um glücklich zu sein. Es sind kleine Dinge im Alltag, die einem das Leben verschönern, wenn man lernt, sie zu erkennen und wert zu schätzen.
Ich habe mir dieses Jahr vorgenommen, die Augen offen zu halten und einfach nur Zeit für solche kleinen Dinge zu nehmen, sei es in die Sterne zu schauen, dem ersten Schnee zuzusehen, oder einfach nur Pusteblumen zu pusten 🙂 . Die MoYou Stamping Platten Pro Collection 04 und Lingo Collection 02 haben mir geholfen, meine Design Idee zu verwirklichen.

Today a small design, which I did for the MoYou „New Year’s Resolutions Nails“ contest.
The idea behind is: you do not necessarily need expensive things and dreamlike places, which are thousands of kilometers away, in order to be happy. These are little things in everyday life, that beautify your life, if you learn to recognize and to appreciate them.
One of my resolutions for this year is to keep my eyes open and to take time for those little things, like looking at the stars, watching the first snow, or just blowing dandelions 🙂 . MoYou stamping plates Pro Collection 04 and Lingo Collection 02 helped me to realize my design idea.

Das Herz von dem Design ist Konad „Kiwi_H01“ (kein Stamping Lack).

The heart of my design is Konad „Kiwi_H1“ (not a stampin g polish).

Von der Farbe her ähnelt es einem Kiwi 100% ig. Es ist ein grelles, sehr sommerliches Grün mit schwarzem mattem Glitter – definitiv eine interessante Mischung. Man braucht 2-3 Schichten für die volle Deckkraft, der Auftrag ist unproblematisch, die Trockenzeit ist eher durchschnittlich. Ich werde, wenn die Temperaturen wieder steigen, noch ein Kiwi-Design damit machen, der Lack schreit einfach danach. Der Nagellack ist parfümiert. Er riecht süßlich, aber ich konnte keine Fruchtnote feststellen . Beim Tragen ist es nicht aufdringlich, worüber ich mich sehr freue: ich bin generell kein großer Fan von parfümierten Nagellacken.

The color resembles a kiwi 100%. It is a bright, very summery green with black matte glitter – definitely an interesting mix. It needs 2-3 coats for full opacity, is easy to apply, the dry time is rather average. I will, when the temperatures rise again, make a kiwi design, the nail polish cries out for it . The nail polish is scented. it smells sweet, but I could not find any hint of fruit. While wearing the scent is unobtrusive , which I am pleased about: I’m generally not a big fan of scented nail polishes.

Gestampt habe ich mit dem Stamping Lack von Essence „Stamp me“ white und habe als „Special Effect“ über Stamping noch etwas Ciaté Glitter „Ride my Rocket“ aufgetragen.

Lace Nails with Nails Inc, Born Pretty, Mundo de Unas & Essence

die, die meinem Blog folgen, wissen, dass ich bei jeder Stamping Schablone mit Spitzenmuster Herzklopfen bekomme :-). Kein Wunder, dass die Schablone Qgirl-017 von Born Pretty Store mich direkt angelächelt hat, als ich mir 5 Produkte zum Testen aussuchen durfte. Außerdem gibt es noch einen Grund, wieso ich mich für diese Schablone entschieden habe: Buchstaben „R“ und „A“ auf der Schablone sind Initialen von meiner Tochter und meinem Mann – eine schöne Möglichkeit, richtig persönliche Nailarts zu kreieren, um meine Liebsten die ganze Zeit bei mir zu haben 🙂

those, who follow my blog know, that my heart throbs any time, when I see a stamping plate with a lace pattern 🙂 . No wonder, that the plate Qgirl-017 from Born Pretty Store caught my eye directly, as I was picking up 5 items for testing. There is also another reason, why I have chosen this plate: the letters „R“ and „A“ on the plate are initials of my daughter and my husband – a nice way to create really personal nailarts to have my loved ones the whole time with me 🙂

Die Stamping Motive auf der Schablone sind verspielt und mädchenhaft, die Schablone ist gut verarbeitet und man kann Einiges an hübschen Nailarts damit kreieren. Den Preis von $2.99 inkl. Versand finde ich absolut akzeptabel.

The stamping designs on the plate are cute and girly, the plate is well made and you can create a lot of pretty nailarts with it. The price of $ 2.99 incl. shipping is in my opinion absolutely acceptable.

Als Basislack für mein Design nahm ich „Old Park Lane“ von Nails Inc. (ich habe es vor ein paar Monaten als Goodie bei einer Douglas Bestellung bekommen). Ich habe bei dem Nagellack absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Die Farbnuance (Lachs-Rosa), das glossige Gel-Finish, der Auftrag, die Deckkraft und die Trockenzeit sind top.

As a base nail polish for my design I took „Old Park Lane“ by Nails Inc. (I received it a few months ago as a goodie in a Douglas order). I have absolutely nothing to complain about this polish: the shade (salmon pink), the glossy gel finish, the opacity and the dry time are top.

Gestampt habe ich mit dem Mundo de Unas Stamping Nagellack „Dark Gray“. Darüber kam „Best Hip-Hop“ von Essence aus der „Rock Out“ TE zum Einsatz. Der Nagellack (den ich eher als Topper empfinde) enthält viel Glitter, bunte Glitzer-Partikel schwimmen hier in durchsichtiger hellgrauer Base. Bis jetzt habe ich es immer über Schwarz aufgetragen und habe nun eine neue Verwendung gefunden. „Best Hip-Hop“ kreiert einen tollen durchsichtigen funkelnden Schleier, und ich glaube, ich hätte keinen schöneren Lack finden können, um den Spitze-Effekt zu erreichen.

I stamped with the Mundo de Unas stamping nail polish „34 Dark Gray“. Over it I applied „Best Hip-Hop“ by Essence from the „Rock Out“ trend edition. The nail polish (I think, it’s rather nail topper than nail polish) contains a lot of glitter, colorful glitter particles float here in transparent light gray base. Until now I always applied it over black and now found a new use. „Best Hip-Hop“ creates a great sparkling transparent veil, and I think I couldn’t have found a more beautiful polish, to reach the lace effect.

Das Design kann ich mir auch sehr gut ohne farbigen Unterlack vorstellen, so dass man noch etwas von Naturnägeln sieht, also als s.g. „Negative Space“ Nailart.

I can also imagine this design without colored base polish, so that you can still see a bit of natural nails, as „negative space“ nailart.

Dragonflies with Rival de Loop, Mundo de Unas and Born Pretty

ich möchte Euch heute das 2. Produkt aus meinem Testpäckchen von Born Pretty Store zeigen. Das ist ein Karussell mit weißen Nail Art Perlen.

I’d like to show you today the second product from the parcel sent to me for review by Born Pretty Store. This is a wheel box with white nail art pearls.

Als ich sie im Born Pretty Online Shop gesehen habe, dachte ich direkt an zarte, leichte Nailarts in Pastellfarben mit weißen Akzenten (bin ja eine alte, unverbesserliche Romantikerin 🙂 ). Die Perlen gibt es in 4 Größen (von 1,5mm bis 4mm), ich habe mich für die Kleinste entschieden und finde sie perfekt. Mit 1,5 mm wirken die Perlen sehr fein, leicht und überladen nicht das Design. In dem Karussell sind 450 Stück enthalten, und den Preis von $1.79 inkl. Versand finde ich unschlagbar.

As I saw them in the Born Pretty Online Shop, I directly thought about delicate, soft nail arts in pastel colors with white accents (I am an old, incorrigible romanticist 🙂 ). The pearls are available in 4 sizes (from 1.5 mm to 4 mm), I opted for the smallest size and find it perfect. With 1.5 mm these pearls look very fine, delicate and do not overload the nail design. In the wheel box there are 450 pieces, and the price of $ 1.79 incl. shipping is unbeatable in my opinion.

Für das Design, welches ich mir ausgedacht hatte, nahm ich den Sand-Nagellack von Rival de Loop „02 Lavender Star“. Ich bin ein Fan von solchen Farbnuancen, und frage mich, wieso ich den Lack bis jetzt noch nicht lackiert habe – absolut unproblematischer Auftrag, schöner Lavendel Ton, einfach nur bezaubernd! Ein hübsches Stamping Motiv mit Libellen fand ich auf der Stamping Schablone von Born Pretty Store BP-74.

For my nail design I took the sand nail polish from Rival de Loop „02 Lavender Star“. I’m a fan of such nuances, and wonder why I have not tried out this nail polish until now – absolutely unproblematic application, beautiful lavender tone, just adorable! A pretty stamping motif with dragonflies I found on the stamping plate by Born Pretty Store BP-74.

Für Stamping habe ich den Nagellack von Mundo de Unas „1 White“ verwendet. Ein paar weiße Akzente mit den Perlen von Born Pretty Store – und voilà, hier fliegen meine Januar-Libellen. Gefällt es Euch?

Snowflakes with Flormar, Ciaté & MoYou

passend zum Wetterbericht für morgen ein Schneeflocken-Design :-). Mal schauen, ob es tatsächlich schneit.

to match the weather forecast for tomorrow a snowflake design on my blog today :-). We’ll see, if it really snows.

Zum ersten Mal habe ich Flormar Silk Satin SS01 „Blouse“ lackiert und bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Kauf. So ein wunderschönes, zartes Grün <3! Der Nagellack deckt mit zwei Schichten, trocknet schnell, hat ein tolles matte Finish – kurz gesagt, ich bin wunschlos glücklich damit.

For the first time I applied Flormar Silk Satin SS01 „Blouse“ and I am very content with this purchase. Such a beautiful, delicate green ❤ ! The nail polish covers with two coats, dries fast, has a great matte finish – in short, I’m perfectly happy with it.

Für mein Silvesterdesign habe ich den „Cabaret“ von Picture Polish benutzt. Ich bin begeistert von diesem burgunderfarbenen Glitterlack und werde definitiv noch weitere Nailarts damit kreieren, in welchen diese Schönheit besser zur Geltung kommt. Für Stamping habe ich den Stamping Lack „17 Gold“ von Mundo de Unas und die Stampingplatte von Marianne Nails Nr. 44 genommen.

For my New Year’s Eve design I used the „Cabaret“ by Picture Polish. I am in love with this burgundy glitter polish and will definitely create more nail arts, in which you can better see this beauty. For stamping I chose stamping polish „17 gold“ by Mundo de Unas and stamping plate No. 44 by Marianne Nails.
