Knitted Glitter Nails with Glam Polish, Lesly and Mundo de Unas

Hi there,

am letzten Wintertag ein Design von mir, welches ich im Dezember gemacht habe, aber aus Mangel an Zeit hier noch nicht gepostet habe. Und wenn ich das noch weiter vor mir herschiebe, werde ich wohl im Hochsommer Winter Nail Arts zeigen :-). Also, los geht’s mit winterlichen „Strick“- Nägeln.

on last winter day a nail design, which I did in December, but have not posted here for lack of time. And if I continue to procrastinate on this issue, I will probably show winter nail arts in midsummer :-). So, here we go with wintry „knitted“ nails .

Als Basis fürs Design habe ich einen Glitter-Nagellack von Glam Polish „Run and Tell That“ gewählt. Wieso man Glitzer und Strickmuster kombiniert? Eine logische Erklärung gibt es dafür nicht. Ich fand den Lack einfach so toll, dass ich ihn direkt nach dem Kauf ausprobieren wollte. Und die Lesly Schablone ls-113 mit dem Strick-Muster stand schon ewig auf der Warteliste und passte gut in die Winterzeit und zum damaligen „WinterSchällenge“ Contest von irmas_lackwiese und ellecee_a_like, an dem ich auf Instagram teilgenommen habe.

As a base for the design I chose a glitter nail polish by Glam Polish „Run and Tell That“. Why combining glitter and knitting? A logical explanation for it does not exist. I just found the nail polish so great, that I wanted to try it right after my purchase. And Lesly stamping plate ls-113 with the knitting pattern had been on my waiting list for ages and fit well in the winter time and to the „WinterSchällenge“ Contest by irmas_lackwiese and ellecee_a_like, on which I participated on Instagram.

„Run and Tell That“ erwies sich als wahrer Schatz. Das ist nach „Welcome to the 60’s“ mein zweiter Glam Polish Nagellack, und ich bin über beide Ohren verliebt in dieses Pärchen. Das Glitzern und Funkeln ist wirklich atemberaubend, die Deckkraft ist gut, und man hat keine Probleme beim Auftrag.

„Run and Tell That“ proved itself as a true treasure. This is my second Glam Polish after „Welcome to the 60’s“, and I’m head over heels in love with this couple. The glitter and sparkles are truly breathtaking, the opacity is good, and it is easy to work with.

Hier noch ein Bild von der Stampig Schablone Lesly ls-113, die ich in der ersten Linie wegen dem Strick-Muster gekauft habe. Ich finde solche Strickmotive toll, leider sind sie nicht so gängig. Die Norwegerpulllover Stamps findet man jede Menge, aber „Grundstricktmuster“ kenne ich bis jetzt nur von Messy Mansion Schablone MM40 und Moyou Fashionista-02 bzw. 03. Falls Ihr weitere Tipps habt, her damit 🙂 .

Here is a picture of the stamping plate Lesly ls-113, which I bought mainly because of the knitting pattern. I like such knitting images, unfortunately they are not common. I saw plenty of stamps with norway sweater patterns, but I know such „basic knitting patterns“ only from Messy Mansion plate MM40 and Moyou Fashionista 02 or 03. If you have any other tips, let me know 🙂 .

Black and Gold Flower Nails with Born Pretty Nail Vinyls

Hi there,

heute das letzte Produkt aus meinem Testpäckchen von Born Pretty Store und wieder eine Nail Art Technik, die ganz neu für mich ist: Nail Vinyls. Ich habe schon Hunderte von wunderschönen Manis mit Nail Vinyls gesehen und war sehr gespannt, ob ich das auch hinkriege. Die JV220 Vinyls aus dem Sortiment von Born Pretty haben mir am besten gefallen. Die erste Überraschung kam beim Auspacken, ich habe mir die Nail Vinyls viel kleiner vorgestellt. Wer eher kürzere Nägel hat, sollte beachten, dass die Motive recht groß sind, die Größe einer Schablone ist 3,2 x 2,5 cm.

I’ve seen hundreds of beautiful manis with nail vinyls and was very curious to see, if I can do it too. From the assortment of Born Pretty Store I liked JV220 vinyls the best. The first surprise came when unpacking, I thought, nail vinyls would be much smaller. If you have shorter nails, please note, that the motives are quite large, the size of a stencil is 3,2 x 2,5 cm.

Irritiert war ich auch von der Beschreibung auf der Verpackung und dachte zuerst, ich habe das falsche Produkt bekommen 🙂 . Sticker? Transparent Gel? UV?

Erst nach dem zweiten Blick auf die Born Pretty Store Seite wurde mir klar, dass man das Produkt sowohl als Holo-Aufkleber, als auch als Nail Vinyls nutzen kann.

Only after a second look at the Born Pretty Store page I realized, that you can use the product both: as holo sticker as well as nail vinyls.

Für das Design habe ich drei Lacke ausgesucht: den goldenen „Pay Day“ von FUN Lacquer, den schwarzen „Vincent“ von Colors by LLarowe und den hellgelben „Build me Up Buttercup“ von Deborah Lippmann.

For the design I chose three nail polishes: the golden „Pay Day“ (FUN Lacquer), black „Vincent“ (Colors by LLarowe) and the pale yellow „Build me up Buttercup“ (Deborah Lippmann).

Zuerst habe ich den Ringfinger schwarz lackiert, gut trocknen lassen, einen Nail Vinyl vom Bogen ausgeschnitten, diesen von der Transparentfolie gelöst und auf den Nagel geklebt. Im Anschluss habe ich den gelben Lack aufgetragen und den Nail Vinyl vorsichtig abgezogen. Es hat geklappt, das Blüten-Muster hatte ich auf dem Nagel.

First, I painted the ring finger black, let it dry, cut out a nail vinyl from the sheet, removed the transparent film and sticked it on the nail. Then I applied the yellow polish and gently removed the stencil. It worked, and I had the flower print on the nail.

Auf dem Mittelfinger habe ich mit Hilfe von ein paar Nail Art Stripes Streifen gemacht und die anderen Nägel mit „Pay Day“ lackiert – meinem Lacktraum in Gold.

On the middle finger I made some stripes with the help of a few nail art stripes and painted the other nails with „Pay Day“ – my dream nail polish in gold.

Main Fazit: Nail Vinyls sind eine nette Abwechslung zum Stamping, und es wird bestimmt nicht mein letztes Nail Vinyl Design sein. Man kann mit unterschiedlichen Texturen spielen (Glitzer über Matte Finish stelle ich mir traumhaft vor) und man braucht gar keine zusätzlichen Utensilien außer Nagellack. Als Nachteil sehe ich, dass man die Vinyls nur einmal verwenden kann.

Bei JV220 Nail Vinyls bekommt man zum Preis von $3.99 inkl. Versand.einen Bogen bestehend aus insgesamt 12 Schablonen mit 2 unterschiedlichen Mustern, d.h. entweder mixt man beide Muster an 10 Fingern oder man setzt mit Nail Vinyls einzelne Akzente (wie in meinem Fall). Hoffe, es gefällt Euch.

My conclusion: nail vinyls are a nice alternative to stamping, and it won’t be my last nail vinyl design. You can play with different textures (I think, glitter over matte will look fantastic) and you do not need any additional utensils except nail polish. Their disadvantage in my opinion is, that you can use the vinyls only once.
JV220 Nail Vinyls cost $ 3.99 incl. shipping. The sheet consists of 12 stencils with 2 different patterns. It means, you can either mix both patterns on 10 fingers or your set with nail vinyls individual accents (as in my case). I hope, you like it.

Purple Glitter Nails with A England, Knocked Up Nails, KIKO and Born Pretty

heute ein Nageldesign mit viel Lila und Glitter – eine bombastische Kombi meiner Meinung nach :-). Benutzt habe ich dafür drei Nagellacke: A England „The blessed damozel“, KIKO 620 „Lavender“ und „Lil‘ Angel“ von Knocked Up Nails.

Today a nail design with a lot of purple and glitter – a bombastic combination in my opinion :-). I used for it three nail polishes: A England „The blessed damozel“, KIKO 620 from the Mirror Nail Lacquer series and „Lil ‚Angel“ from Knocked Up Nails.

„The blessed damozel“ ist ein wunderbares, sattes Lila mit sehr feinem Schimmer. Der Lack leuchtet von innen, deckt bereits in einer Schicht und ich habe bei ihm absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Für Stamping habe ich KIKO 620 „Lavender“ verwendet: dieser Metallic Lack ist aus der Mirror Nail Lacquer Reihe, und die kompletten Nagellacke aus dieser Kollektion eignen sich perfekt für Stamping-Zwecke. Den „Lil‘ Angel“ habe ich bereits hier reviewt und bin immer noch sehr angetan von diesem Glitter Nagellack..

„The blessed damozel“ is a wonderful, rich purple with very fine shimmer. This nail polish shines from within, covers already in one layer and I have absolutely nothing to complain about with it. For Stamping I used KIKO 620 „Lavender“: this metallic nail polish is from the Mirror Nail Lacquer series and all polishes from this collection are perfect for stamping purposes. „Lil‘ Angel“ was already reviewed by me here and I am still very fond of this glitter nail polish.

Als Stamping Schablone habe ich Born Pretty BPL-015 genommen, es kommen garantiert noch weitere Designs mit dieser Platte – ich mag die Motive sehr.

Blue glitter nails with Anny, Mundo de Unas & Cici&Sisi

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

bereits in ein paar Stunden sitze ich im Flugzeug Richtung Moskau, mein dreiwöchiger Heimaturlaub beginnt. In den kommenden Wochen wird es also ruhig sein auf meinem Blog. Ich verabschiede mich für eine Weile, wünsche euch eine tolle Zeit und hoffe insgeheim, dass ich ein bisschen vermisst werde 😉 .

Peacock Nails with Essence & Born Pretty

Hi there,

heute habe ich mit der Stamping Schablone BP-30 (PR Sample von Born Pretty Store) gespielt und verschiedene Designs ausprobiert. Mein Lieblingsdesign möchte ich Euch gerne zeigen.

Today I played with stamping plate BP-30 (PR Sample from Born Pretty Store) and tried out different nail designs. I ‚d like to show you the favourite one.

Insgesamt hat die Schablone 4 Ganznagelmotive und 4 kleinere Images. Das Blätter-Motiv und das Pullover-Zopfmuster-Image sind 15 x 18 mm groß und das Federmuster und das geometrische Muster unten sind 15 x 21 mm groß. Die Schablone finde ich sehr gut: alle Images lassen sich problemlos übertragen. Das Pfauenfedermotiv ist mein Liebling geworden.

In total, the plate has 4 full-nail designs and 4 smaller images. The image with the leaves and the braid sweater pattern are 15 x 18 mm and the feather pattern and the geometric pattern below are 15 x 21 mm. I think, the plate is really good: all images can be easily transferred. The peacock’s feather image became my favorite.

Ich denke, am besten sieht dieses Motiv in der Kombination mit metallischen Stamping Lacken oder einer auffälligen Base aus. Reverse Stamping, bei dem man das Motiv direkt auf dem Stamper in verschiedenen Farben ausmalen kann, wäre auch eine tolle Alternative. Ich habe mich für die auffällige Base entschieden und habe meinen alten Essence „04 Super, Man!“ aus der Superheroes LE herausgeholt. Der Lack gehört definitiv zu meinen Top 10 Nagellacken: ich sehe zwar keinen beworbenen Holo-Effekt, aber das bunte Glitzern in der silbernen Base ist ein Traum :-). Außerdem deckt der Lack mit zwei Schichten und trocknet schnell.

I think, this image looks most beautiful in combination with metallic stamping polishes or a conspicuous nail polish as a base. Reverse stamping, where you can paint out the image directly on the stamper in different colors, would also be a great alternative. I opted for the flashy base and got out my old Essence „04 Super, Man!“ from the Superheroes LE. The polish is definitely one of my top 10 nail polishes: Although I do not see advertised holographic effect, but the colorful sparkle in a silver base is a dream :-). In addition, the polish covers with two coats and dries quickly.

Gestampt habe ich mit dem Essence „002 Stamp me! black“ und habe danach noch das Design in eine Halbmond-Maniküre verwandelt. Dafür habe ich die French Nail Sticker verwendet (No-Name, vor Jahren bei Ebay gekauft). Diese habe ich auf die Nägel geklebt, so dass der spätere Halbmond offen war und den Halbmond mit einer Schicht Essence „Fatal“ schwarz ausgemalt. Direkt danach (noch bevor der schwarze Lack trocken war), habe ich die Sticker wieder abgezogen. Hier ist das Ergebnis, ich hoffe, Ihr mögt es.

I stamped the image with Essence „002 Stamp me! Black“ and after that „transformed“ the design in a half-moon manicure. For that, I used the French Nail Sticker (noname, bought them years ago on ebay). These I placed on the nails, so that the later half-moon was open and painted it out in black with a layer of Essence „Fatal“. Immediately after that (before the black polish was dry), I peeled off the sticker. Here is the result, I hope, you like it.

Glitter Nails with Glam Polish Welcome to the 60’s and MJ JR-16

Hi there,

heute trage ich einen wunderschönen Glitternagellack – „Welcome to the 60’s“ von Glam Polish. Der Basiston ist ein holographisches Caramel-Gold mit Glitter in Pink und Weiß, und habe echt das Gefühl, ich habe Juwelen auf den Nägeln – es glitzert und funkelt so toll!

Today I’m wearing a beautiful glitter nail polish – „Welcome to the 60’s“ by Glam Polish. The base shade is a holographic caramel-gold with glitter in pink and white, and I really feel like there are jewels on my nails – it glitters and sparkles amazingly!
