Flowers with Misslyn, Born Pretty and Mundo de Unas

Hi there,

heute wird es blumig auf dem Blog … Seit Sommer habe ich bereits „lovely nails“ Mini-Nagellacke von Misslyn, habe bis jetzt nur den weißen (Nr. 10 „true white“) getestet und bin endlich dazu gekommen, noch ein paar aus dieser LE aufzutragen: 39 „drama baby“ und 147 „caribbean bay“. Fazit: hübsche sommerliche Farben, aber die Deckkraft ist eher schwach, man benötigt bei allen 3 bis 4 Schichten. Am Schönsten fand ich den grau-blauen 147 „caribbean bay“ – ich stehe auf solche Farbnuancen total. Der knallige korallfarbene 39″drama baby“ hat leider den Nagel sehr verfärbt, man sollte hier auf jeden Fall einen Unterlack verwenden.

Conclusion: pretty summer colors, but the opacity is rather weak, you need for all of them 3 to 4 coats. The most beautiful in my opinion is the gray – blue 147 „Caribbean Bay“ – I really love those color. The vibrant coral pink nail polish 39 „drama baby“ unfortunately discolored my nail, with this one I will use a base coat in the future.

Für das Stamping Design habe ich drei Born Pretty Store Schablonen verwendet: BP-30 (war ein PR Sample), BP-L016 und BP-66. Den Daumen, den Zeigefinger und den kleinen Finger habe ich weiß lackiert und darüber mit dem Mundo de Unas Stamping Lack „34 Dark Gray“ das Muster von der Schablone BP-L016 gestampt.

For stamping design I used three Born Pretty Store plates: BP-30 (was a PR sample), BP-L016 and BP-66. First, I painted the thumb, the index finger and the little finger in white and stamped the pattern from the plate BP-L016 with Mundo de Unas Stamping Polish „34 Dark Gray“ .

Über „caribbean bay“ und „drama baby“ auf dem Mittel- und Ringtfinger kam das florale Muster von der Schablone BP-66 (mit Stamping Nagellacken „34 Dark Gray“ und „1 White“ von Mundo de Unas).

Over „Caribbean Bay“ and „drama baby“ on the middle and the ring finger came the floral pattern from the plate BP-66 (done with stamping nail polish „34 Dark Gray“ and „1 White“ by Mundo de Unas).

Danach habe ich noch mit Hilfe der Schablone BP-30 ein Rosen-Stamping Decal gemacht: die Rose auf den Stamper übertragen, direkt auf dem Stamper mit „drama baby“ ausgemalt, ca. 5 Minuten gewartet und eine Schicht Topcoat drüber aufgetragen. Nach ca. einer halben Stunde Trocknungszeit habe ich dann das Decal vom Stamper mit einer Pinzette abgezogen und auf dem Nagel angebracht. Die überragenden Ränder wurden abgeschnitten und das Decal wurde mit einer Schicht Topcoat auf dem Nagel fixiert.

After that I made a rose stamping decal using the plate BP-30: I stamped the rose onto the stamper , painted it out with „drama baby“ directly on the stamper, waited for about 5 minutes and applied a layer of topcoat over it. Then, after ca. half an hour drying time, I peeled off the decal from the stamper with a tweezer and placed it on the nail. The excess was cut off and the decal was fixed with a layer of top coat on the nail.

White Nails with Misslyn, Mundo de Unas & Cici&Sisi

Hi there,

mit diesem Beitrag zum Misslyn’s Summer Nail Art Contest wurde ich zu einer der Gewinnerinnen nominiert (juhu 🙂 ). Letzte Woche kam dann der lang ersehnte Gewinn an: fünf Mini-Nagellacke aus der „Lovely Nails“ Kollektion („true white“, „drama baby“, „miracle berry“, „summer in the city“, „caribbean bay“) und ein schnelltrocknender Überlack – ein richtig süßes Päckchen.

with this entry to Misslyn’s Summer Nail Art Contest I was nominated as one of the winners (yay 🙂 ). Last week the long-awaited win arrived: five mini nail polishes from the „Lovely Nails“ collection („true white“, „drama baby“, „miracle berry“, „summer in the city“, „caribbean bay“) and a fast drying top coat – a really cute package.

Misslyn Lovely Nails

Als Erstes wollte ich unbedingt „True white“ ausprobieren – eine der wichtigsten Grundfarben für Nailarts 🙂 . Es ist gar nicht so einfach, einen gut deckenden weißen Nagellack zu finden. Mein Favorit bis jetzt war der weiße „Snow alert“ von Essence aus der „Mountain calling“ TE, der leider schon fast zu Ende ist.

First, I wanted to try“True white“- one of the main colors for nailarts 🙂 . It is not so easy to find a well-covering white nail polish. My favorite until now was the white „snow alert“ from the Essence’s“Mountain calling“ TE, which is unfortunately almost over.

„True white“ hat mich leider nicht ganz überzeugt. Es ist zwar ein wirklich schönes, reines Weiß, der Pinsel ist trotz Mini-Größe sehr bequem, aber der Nagellack deckt erst mit drei Schichten. Für die Naildesigns bevorzuge ich deckendere Nagellacke als Basis. Also geht die Suche nach einem deckenden weißen Nagellack weiter.

„True white“ has not completely convinced me. Although it is a really nice, pure white, the brush is very comfortable despite mini size, but the nail polish covered only with three layers. For nail designs I prefer more opaque nail polish as a base. So the search for a white nail polish with good coverage continues.

Für mein Stamping Design habe ich (inspiriert von einer Porzellan Schale 🙂 ) den blauen Mundo de Unas Stamping Nagellack „Iris“ und zwei Motive von der Stamping Schablone „Cici&Sisi – 03“ verwendet.
