Hi there,

vor kurzem hat mich Ashley von „Knocked Up Nails“ gefragt, ob ich die Nagellacke von dieser Firma testen möchte. Bis dahin kannte ich „Knocked Up Nails“ nicht, habe direkt im Internet recherchiert und dann ohne Zögern zugesagt. Die „Knocked Up Nails“ Lacke kommen aus den USA, werden ohne jegliche Giftstoffe hergestellt und sind 5-frei, was bedeutet, dass sie kein schädigendes Toluol, Formaldehyd, Formaldehyd-Harz, DBP und keinen Kampfer enthalten. Ausserdem sind sie vegan, tierversuchsfrei und glutenfrei. Die Lacke sind insbesondere für Mamas in Spe gedacht, sind aber auch für Allergiker und Kinder unbedenklich und eignen sich also für alle, die Wert auf gesunde Inhaltsstoffe legen. Hier seht Ihr die komplette Liste mit den Inhaltsstoffen. Ich selbst bin allergisch auf Formaldehyd und bin froh, derart „sichere“ Nagellacke in meiner Sammlung zu haben.

Recently, I have been asked by Ashley from“Knocked Up Nails“, if I would like to test their nail polishes. Until then, I did not know „Knocked Up Nails“, so that I directly  did a research on the internet and then agreed without hesitation. The „Knocked Up Nails“ nail polishes come from the USA, are made without any toxins and are 5-free, which means that they do not contain harmful toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP and camphor. They are also vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free. The polishes are especially designed for moms-to-be, but are safe for allergy sufferers and children and are therefore suitable for those, who value healthy ingredients. Here you can see the complete list of the ingredients. I myself am allergic to formaldehyde and glad to have such a „safe“ nail polishes in my collection.

Vorgestern kamen zwei „Knocked Up Nails“ Nagellacke bei mir an und ich trage sie unheimlich gerne heute, am Muttertag. Für mich ist es ein kleiner Throwback: ausgerechnet am Muttertag vor vier Jahren habe ich erfahren, dass ich schwanger bin und selbst Mama werde 🙂 . Hier sind die Lacke, die ich bekommen habe: „One Glass a Week“ und „Lil Angel“.

The day before yesterday two „Knocked Up Nails“ nail polishes arrived, and I am happy to wear them today, on Mother’s Day. For me it’s a small throwback: just on Mother’s Day four years ago, I learned, that I am pregnant and will be mom  🙂 . Here are the polishes, that I got: „One Glass A Week“ and „Lil Angel“.

„One Glass a Week“ ist ein wunderschönes, sehr deckendes (deckt in einer Schicht!) Dunkelrot mit einem wirklich tollen Glanz (auf dem Bild unten ist es ohne Topcoat). Es ist so elegant und „eyecatchy“ gleichzeitig! Beim Auftrag hatte ich keine Schwierigkeiten, und die Trockenzeit war schnell. „Lil Angel“ Rainbow Glitter ist ein kleiner Funkelschatz, es funkelt mehrfarbig und sieht auf den Nägeln richtig zauberhaft aus.  Ich habe beide direkt in Kombination ausprobiert und mag das Ergebnis sehr.

„One Glass A Week“ is a beautiful, very opaque (covers in one layer!) rich red with a really great shine (in the picture below it is with no top coat). It is so elegant and „eyecatchy“ at the same time! I had no trouble applying it, and the drying time was fast. „Lil Angel“ Rainbow Glitter is a small sparkling treasure, it sparkles in different colors and looks glamorous on the nails. I  directly tried both in combination and like the result very much.

Und da ich Stamping-verrückt bin, habe ich noch ein Stamping Design mit beiden Lacken ausprobiert. Als erstes kamen zwei Schichten „Lil Angel“ über „One Glass a Week“, und dann habe ich das Stamping-Muster mit „One Glass a Week“ gestampt (eignet sich dank seiner Deckkraft perfekt dazu). Als Stamping Schablone habe ich „Cici&Sisi 06“ geschnappt.

And since I’m Stamping-addicted, I also tried a Stamping design with both nail polishes. First I applied two layers „Lil Angel“ over“One Glass A Week“ and then stamped the pattern with „One Glass A Week“ (perfectly suitable  for stamping thanks to its opacity). As a stamping plate I  used „Cici&Sisi  06 „.
