Butterfly Nails with OPI, Konad & Hehe (Lady Queen)

Hi there,

das erste Lebenszeichen von mir nach dem langen Heimaturlaub 🙂
Dieses Jahr war der Urlaub pures Eintauchen in die Vergangenheit – alles dank ein paar unerwarteten Begegnungen mit alten Freunden, die ich schon seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr gesehen habe. Und hier noch ein paar russische Landschaften für Euch (und für mich selbst als Erinnerung).

This year the holiday became a true immersion in the past thanks to a few unexpected encounters with old friends which I have not seen for ages. And here are a few russian landscapes for you (and for me as a memory).

Lacktechnisch bin ich um ein paar OPI’s, Sally Hansen’s und El Corazon’s reicher geworden, da diese in Russland um einiges günstiger waren. Für Stamping Begeisterte ist das Angebot dort auch größer als in Deutschland: ich habe in mehreren Geschäften Stamping Schablonen und Stamping Lacke gesehen, die man in Deutschland nur online bekommt. Mitgenommen habe ich allerdings „nur“ zwei große Konad Stamping Platten und einen auberginefarbenen Konad Stamping Lack, dessen Bezeichnung ich leider nirgendwo auf der Verpackung finden konnte (das Einzige, was auf dem Flaschenboden steht, ist „13“). Diesen Stamping Lack wollte ich unbedingt in der Kombination mit dem wunderschönen mintfarbenen (auch in Russland gekauften) OPI’s „That’s Hula-rious!“ ausprobieren.

As for nail polishes, I bought in Russia a couple of OPI’s, Sally Hansen’s and El Corazon’s, as they were a lot cheaper there. For stamping fans the offer in Russia is even bigger than in Germany: in several stores I saw stamping plates and stamping polishes, which you can get in Germany only online. I bought „only“ two large Konad image plates and an eggplant-colored Konad Stamping polish, whose „official“ name I unfortunately could not find anywhere on the packaging (the only thing that is on the bottom of the bottle is „13“). And I badly wanted to test this stamping polish in combination with the beautiful mint-colored (also purchased in Russia) OPI’s „That’s Hula-rious!“„

Eine andere angenehme Überraschung war nach meinem Urlaub ein Päckchen mit zwei Stamping Schablonen vom Internet Shop „Lady Queen„. Ende Juni hat mich Perlie von Lady Queen angeschrieben und gefragt, ob ich deren Produkte reviewen würde. Ich habe bereits einige positive Reviews zu diesem neuen Shop gesehen und habe mich sehr gefreut, neue Brands testen zu dürfen. Verkauft werden auf Lady Queen’s Seite Nail Art Sachen, Schmuck, Taschen, Makeup etc. Ich war natürlich besonders an dem Nailart Zubehör interessiert und habe direkt Hehe-Stamping Schablonen entdeckt, die für mich absolut neu waren. Die erste von den zwei, die ich gewählt habe, habe ich nun  ausprobiert und bin sehr zufrieden.

Another pleasant surprise after my vacation was a packet with two stamping plates from the Internet Shop „Lady Queen„. At the end of June Perlie from Lady Queen had written to me and asked if I would  like to review their products. I have already seen some positive reviews about this new shop and was very happy to test new brands. On Lady Queen’s website you can buy Nail Art items, jewelry, bags, makeup etc. Of course I was especially interested in the nail art accessories and directly discovered Hehe stamping plates, which were absolutely new to me. The first of two plates, that I had chosen, I tried now and I am really satisfied with it.

Es geht um die Stamping Schablone hehe 004. Gerade ist diese reduziert und kostet $2.39. Der weltweite Versand ist im Shop kostenlos. Die Schablone kommt mit einer blauen Schutzfolie, die man vor dem Gebrauch abzieht. Die Schablone hat einen Durchmesser von 5,5 cm und es sind insgesamt 4 Motive darauf (ich als Fan von floralen, zarten Images und Ornamenten war direkt in sie verliebt).

Für das Naildesign im heutigen Blogpost habe ich zwei Motive rechts verwendet und finde, sie passen sehr gut zusammen. Ich hatte keinerlei Probleme beim Übertragen, und das Ergebnis gefällt mir richtig gut. Besonders der Schmetterling hat es mir angetan 🙂 .

For the nail design in today’s blogpost I used two right images and think, they fit very well together. I had no problems when transferring the image, and really like the result. Especially the butterfly stole my heart 🙂 .

White Nails with Misslyn, Mundo de Unas & Cici&Sisi

Hi there,

mit diesem Beitrag zum Misslyn’s Summer Nail Art Contest wurde ich zu einer der Gewinnerinnen nominiert (juhu 🙂 ).  Letzte Woche kam dann der lang ersehnte Gewinn an: fünf Mini-Nagellacke aus der „Lovely Nails“ Kollektion („true white“, „drama baby“, „miracle berry“, „summer in the city“, „caribbean bay“) und ein schnelltrocknender Überlack – ein richtig süßes Päckchen.

Als Erstes wollte ich unbedingt „True white“ ausprobieren – eine der wichtigsten Grundfarben für Nailarts 🙂 . Es ist gar nicht so einfach, einen gut deckenden weißen Nagellack zu finden. Mein Favorit bis jetzt war der weiße „Snow alert“ von Essence aus der „Mountain calling“ TE, der leider schon fast zu Ende ist.

First, I wanted to try“True white“- one of the main colors for nailarts 🙂 . It is not so easy to find a well-covering white nail polish. My favorite until now was the white „snow alert“ from the Essence’s“Mountain calling“ TE, which is unfortunately almost over.

„True white“ hat mich leider nicht ganz überzeugt. Es ist zwar ein wirklich schönes, reines Weiß, der Pinsel ist trotz Mini-Größe sehr bequem, aber der Nagellack deckt erst mit drei Schichten. Für die Naildesigns bevorzuge ich deckendere Nagellacke als Basis. Also geht die Suche nach einem deckenden weißen Nagellack weiter.

„True white“ has not completely convinced me. Although it is a really nice, pure white, the brush is very comfortable despite mini size, but the nail polish covered only with three layers. For nail designs I prefer more opaque nail polish as a base. So the search for a white nail polish with good coverage continues.

Für mein Stamping Design habe ich (inspiriert von einer Porzellan Schale 🙂 ) den blauen Mundo de Unas Stamping Nagellack „Iris“ und zwei Motive von der Stamping Schablone „Cici&Sisi – 03“ verwendet.

Green Summer Nails with P2, Konad & Essence

Hi there,

seit gestern erstrahlen meine Nägel im frischen Grün von P2 :-). Kombiniert habe ich dafür zwei Nagellacke: „620 artful“ und „627 kind of crazy“. Als Erstes habe ich den Mittel- und den Ringfinger mit dem „kind of crazy“ lackiert. Ich mag dieses Pistaziengrün. Es ist sicherlich nicht jedermanns Geschmack, ich finde die Nuance aber ziemlich einzigartig und toll für den Frühling / Sommer. Der Lack ist nicht wirklich deckend, man braucht mindestens 3 Schichten, diese lassen sich aber ohne Probleme auftragen und trocknen recht schnell. Der türkisgrüne „artful“ ist in der Hinsicht viel „artiger“: deckt mit 2 Schichten, und ich habe bei ihm absolut nichts zu beanstanden.

For this, I combined two nail polishes: „620 artful“ and „627 kind of crazy.“ First, I painted the middle and the ring finger with the „kind of crazy“. I like this pistachio green. It’s certainly not to everyone’s taste, but I find the nuance quite unique and great for the spring / summer. The polish is not really opaque, you need at least 3 coats, but these can be applied without problems and dry quickly. The turquoise „artful“ is more opaque, covers with 2 coats, and I have absolutely nothing to complain about it.

Den Daumen, den Zeige- und den kleinen Finger habe ich mit „artful“ lackiert und dann mit beiden Lacken mit Hilfe eines Schwämmchens über „Kind of Crazy“ einen Gradient gemacht. Darüber kam ein Stamping mit der Schablone von Konad m78 – eine der ältesten in meiner Sammlung. Für Stamping habe ich Essence „Stamp me“ white verwendet.

I painted the thumb, the index and the little finger with „artful“ and then made a gradient over „kind of  crazy“ with both polishes by using a sponge. Over the gradient I stamped with the stamping plate Konad m78 – one of the oldest in my collection. For stamping I used Essence „Stamp me“ white.

Wie findet Ihr das Ergebnis? Tragt Ihr öfters Grün auf Euren Nägeln? Ich habe festgestellt, ich verwende es viel zu selten, obwohl es so viele wunderschöne Grünnuancen gibt.

How do you like the result? Do you often wear green on your nails? I’ve found, I use it too rarely, although there are so many beautiful shades of green.

„A La Princess“ Nails with El Corazon, Mundo de Unas and Born Pretty

Hi there,

gestern habe ich auf Instagram einen Contest von El Corazon und Yagala entdeckt – es war einfach eine perfekte Gelegenheit, einen meiner Neuzugänge zu lackieren – Black Sabbath 423/628 von El Corazon.  Von diesem Lack bin restlos begeistert: wunderschönes Lila mit einem tollen Schimmer und deckt bereits in einer Schicht.

yesterday I discovered on Instagram a contest by El Corazon and Yagala – and it was just a perfect opportunity to paint one of my new nailpolish additions – Black Sabbath 423/628 of El Corazon. I am completely thrilled by this polish: beautiful purple with a great sheen and covers already in one coat.

Das Thema vom Contest waren die Herzen, und ich habe direkt an die Schablone mit Herzen BP-61 von Born Pretty Store gedacht.

The theme of the contest was „Hearts“ and I directly thought about the stamping plate with hearts BP-61 from Born Pretty Store.

Als Extra-Akzent habe ich die Herzen mit dem Prinzessin-Bild von der Schablone BP-69 kombiniert – ich stehe einfach auf diese girly Motive.

As an extra accent I combined hearts with the Princess image from the plate BP-69 – I just love those girly motifs.

Flower Nails with China Glaze, MoYou and Mundo de Unas

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

heute habe ich ein sommerliches Blumen-Design kreiert. Es ist nicht kompliziert, gefällt mir aber richtig gut dank dem „Hauptdarsteller“ – dem Nagellack von China Glaze „Surreal Appeal“. Es ist lachsfarben und Pink gleichzeitig, kein Neon und sticht trotzdem ins Auge –  ich liebe diese Farbnuance einfach. Zwei Schichten waren im Nu trocken – bereits nach einigen Minuten konnte ich mit Stamping beginnen.

Today I created a summery flower nail design. It is not complicated, but I really like it thanks to the „leading actor“ – the nail polish by China Glaze „Surreal Appeal“. It is salmon and pink at the same time, not a neon, but eye-catching – I simply love this shade. Two layers were instantly dry – after a few minutes I was able to start  with stamping.

Peacock Nails with Essence & Born Pretty

Hi there,

 heute habe ich mit der Stamping Schablone BP-30 (PR Sample von Born Pretty Store) gespielt und verschiedene Designs ausprobiert. Mein Lieblingsdesign möchte ich Euch gerne zeigen.

Today I played with stamping plate BP-30 (PR Sample from Born Pretty Store) and tried out different nail designs. I ‚d like to show you the favourite one.

Insgesamt hat die Schablone 4 Ganznagelmotive und 4 kleinere Images. Das Blätter-Motiv und das Pullover-Zopfmuster-Image sind 15 x 18 mm groß und das Federmuster und das geometrische Muster unten sind 15 x 21 mm groß. Die Schablone finde ich sehr gut: alle Images lassen sich problemlos übertragen. Das Pfauenfedermotiv ist mein Liebling geworden.

In total, the plate has 4 full-nail designs and 4 smaller images. The image with the leaves and the braid sweater pattern  are 15 x 18 mm  and the feather pattern and the geometric pattern below are 15 x 21 mm. I think, the plate is really good: all images can be easily transferred. The peacock’s feather image became my favorite.

Ich denke, am besten sieht dieses Motiv in der Kombination mit metallischen Stamping Lacken oder einer auffälligen Base aus. Reverse Stamping, bei dem man das Motiv direkt auf dem Stamper in verschiedenen Farben ausmalen kann, wäre auch eine tolle Alternative. Ich habe mich für die auffällige Base entschieden und habe meinen alten Essence „04 Super, Man!“ aus der Superheroes LE herausgeholt. Der Lack gehört definitiv zu meinen Top 10 Nagellacken: ich sehe zwar keinen beworbenen Holo-Effekt, aber das bunte Glitzern in der silbernen Base ist ein Traum :-). Außerdem deckt der Lack mit zwei Schichten und trocknet schnell.

I think, this image looks most beautiful in combination with metallic stamping polishes or a conspicuous nail polish as a base. Reverse stamping, where you can paint out the image directly on the stamper in different colors, would also be a great alternative. I opted for the flashy base and got out my old Essence „04 Super, Man!“ from the Superheroes LE. The polish is definitely one of my top 10 nail polishes: Although I do not see advertised holographic effect, but the colorful sparkle in a silver base is a dream :-). In addition, the polish covers with two coats and dries quickly.

Gestampt habe ich mit dem Essence „002 Stamp me! black“ und habe danach noch das Design in eine Halbmond-Maniküre verwandelt. Dafür habe ich die French Nail Sticker verwendet (No-Name, vor Jahren bei Ebay gekauft). Diese habe ich  auf die Nägel geklebt, so dass der spätere Halbmond offen war und den Halbmond mit einer Schicht Essence „Fatal“ schwarz ausgemalt. Direkt danach (noch bevor der schwarze Lack trocken war), habe ich die Sticker wieder abgezogen. Hier ist das Ergebnis, ich hoffe, Ihr mögt es.

I stamped the image with Essence „002 Stamp me! Black“ and after that „transformed“ the design in a half-moon manicure. For that, I used the French Nail Sticker (noname, bought them years ago on ebay). These I placed on the nails, so that the later half-moon was open and painted it out in black with a layer of Essence „Fatal“. Immediately after that (before the black polish was dry), I peeled off the sticker. Here is the result, I hope, you like it.

Nautical Nails with Essence & Cici&Sisi

Hi there,

am Wochenende habe ich im DM die neue „nauti girl“ Trend Edition von Essence entdeckt und habe direkt einen Nagellack mitgenommen – „01 Ahoy, Boy!“ Habe es gerade aufgetragen und bin absolut begeistert von diesem Boy: sehr cremig, sehr deckend (eine Schicht reicht vollkommen) und hat eine tolle Farbe – dunkles Petrolblau.

Meine frisch lackierten Nägel schrien nach einem Marine Design und habe das schöne Streifen-Muster von der Stamping Schablone „Cici&Sisi 02“ für Stamping gewählt. Gestampt habe ich mit dem Essence Lack „Stamp me white“.

Auf den Zeige-,  Ringfinger und den Daumen kamen ein paar kleine Perlen, danach noch eine Schicht Topcoat – und voila – fertig war das maritime blau-weiße Design. Wie findet Ihr es?

 I added a few small nail beads to the index finger, the ring finger and the thumb, then one coat of topcoat – and voila –  the maritime blue and white design was finished. How do you like it?

Delicate Lavender Nails with Sally Hansen, Essence and Chez Delaney

Hi there,

heute zeige ich Euch meinen neuen Lackliebling – 406 „Purple Heart“ von Sally Hansen. Es ist ein zarter, cremiger Pastell-Nagellack mit einem sehr schönen Glanz. Er deckt in zwei Schichten und ich bin absolut vernarrt in diesen Lavendel-Ton.

Den Lack kann ich mir sehr gut in der Kombination mit Weiß, dunklerem Lila und Silber vorstellen. Er ist wie geschaffen für romantische Nail Arts mit verträumten Motiven, und ich habe heute zur Spitzen-Schablone von Chez Delaney Dentelle 004 gegriffen. Es ist bestimmt meine -zigste Stampingschablone mit Spitzenmustern, ich kann einfach nicht genug davon haben 🙂 . Gestampt habe ich mit dem Stamping Lack von Essence „Stamp me white“.

I think, this color goes well together with white, darker purple and silver and it is ideal for romantic Nail Arts with dreamy images. Today I picked the lace stamping plate by Chez Delaney Dentelle 004. It is certainly my umpteenth stamping plate with lace patterns, I just can not have enough of them :-). The stamping polish I used was „Stamp me white“ by Essence.

heute ein Design mit dem aller-aller-sommerlichsten Nagellack aus meiner Sammlung  – dem „Hedonist“ aus der Models Own LE „Hed Kandi“. Mehr Neon geht meiner Meinung nach gar nicht – optisch brennt es fast auf den Nägeln :-). Die Farbnuance ist ein Knaller – ein leuchtendes Koralle-Rot, ist definitiv nicht zu übersehen und perfekt für Partys, Festivals, Urlaub und einfach nur, wenn man Lust auf Farbe hat. Der Lack deckt in zwei Schichten und ist vom Finish eher semi-matt. Mit dem Topcoat gefällt es mir persönlich besser.

today a design with the most-most-most summery nail polish from my collection – the „hedonist“  from the „Hed Kandi“ LE by Models Own. This neon is simply unbeatable in my opinion – visually it almost burns on the nails :-). The shade is a real blast – a bright coral-red, is definitely not to be overlooked and perfect for parties, festivals, holidays and just when you like bright color. The nail polish covers in two layers and is from he finish rather semi-matte. With the topcoat I personally like it better.

Blue Seashell Nails with Born Pretty, Essence, Kiko and Misslyn

Hi there,

heute habe ich noch eine Stamping Schablone BP-18 (PR Sample von Born Pretty Store) ausprobiert. Insgesamt hat die Schablone fünf Ganznagel-Images und drei kleinere Motive. Die Motivgröße ist unterschiedlich: die kleinsten Ganznagel-Images sind 15mm hoch, das größte Motiv mit Palmen ist 25mm hoch. Ich würde die Schablone auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen: die Qualität ist sehr gut und die Motive lassen sich problemlos aufnehmen, außerdem ist die Auswahl an Mustern toll. Das Regenschirm-Bild oder das Bild mit Theater-Masken finde ich richtig einzigartig und das Schnörkelmuster wunder-wunderschön, die Federmotive kann man gut in verspielten zarten Designs verwenden und Bambus und Muscheln sorgen für Urlaubsträume und Fernweh 🙂 . Entschieden habe ich mich heute für das Motiv mit Muscheln.

today I tried BP-18 stamping plate (PR Sample from Born Pretty Store). In total it has five full nail patterns and three smaller images The image size varies: the smallest full nail images are 15mm tall, the largest image with palm trees is 25mm tall. I would recommend the plate in any case: the quality is very good and the patterns can be easily transferred, also the choice of images is great. I find the umbrella image or image with theater masks really unique and  that pattern  with swirls beautiful, the feather motifs can be well used in delicate playful designs and bamboo and shells ensure holiday dreams and the travel bug 🙂 . Today I chose the image with seashells.

Auf dem Bild unten sind Nagellacke, die ich verwendet habe. Als Erstes habe ich die Nägel mit Essence „33 wild white ways“ Colour Intensive Base lackiert und dann mit einem Schwamm einen Gradient mit „33 wild white ways“, Kiko 850 „Cerulean“ und Misslyn 607 „Atmosphere“ gemacht. Darauf kam eine Schicht von Essence Liquid Foil „30 lady mermaid“ Nagellack. Ich würde „lady mermaid“ solo eher nicht tragen, da die Deckkraft nicht so stark ist, aber ich mag den Foil-Effekt und verwende es gerne in Kombination mit anderen Nagellacken. Durch die Transparenz von „mermaid lady“ bleibt (wie im heutigen Design) auch der Gradient-Effekt erhalten – ein zusätzlicher Plus. Für Stamping habe ich den „Stamp me! white“ von Essence verwendet.

In the picture below you can see nail polishes, that I used. First, I polished my nails with Essence „33 wild white ways“ Intensive Colour Base and then made a gradient with „33 wild white ways“, Kiko 850 „Cerulean“ and Misslyn 607 „Atmosphere“ using a sponge. Then I covered the gradient with one coat of Essence Liquid Foil „30 lady mermaid“ nail polish. I would rather not wear „lady mermaid“ solo, because the opacity is not so strong, but I like the foil effect and like to use it in combination with other nail polishes. Through the transparency of „mermaid lady“ the gradient effect remains (as in today’s design) – an additional plus. For stamping I used the „Stamp me! White“ by Essence.
