Black & Red Nails with Kiko, Essie and B. loves plates

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

heute habe ich ein sehr kontrastreiches Design in Schwarz / Rot / Weiß.

Today I have a very high-contrast design in black / red / white.

Der schwarze Basislack ist Kiko 819 „black“, den ich bereits hier vorgestellt habe. Ich musste diesen unbedingt nochmal ausprobieren, da ich beim ersten Auftrag mit der Haltbarkeit nicht zufrieden war (Absplitterungen bereits am zweiten Tag). Diesmal habe ich einen anderen Topcoat („Insta Dri“ von Sally Hansen) verwendet, trage den Lack seit zwei Tagen und kann nichts Negatives berichten.

The black base polish is Kiko 819 „black“, which I have already presented here. I had to try this polish again, because I was not satisfied with the first application (chipping on the second day). This time I used another topcoat („Insta Dri“ by Sally Hansen), have been wearing it for two days and can not say anything negative.

Als Rot habe ich meinen alten Essie „russian roulette“ genommen. Ich mag an dem Lack die Farbe (kräftiges Rot mit einem leichten Orangenstich) und das Finish (hochglänzendes Creme-Jelly), er braucht allerdings mindestens drei Schichten für die volle Deckkraft und ist etwas dünnflüssig.

As red I  chose my old Essie „russian roulette“. What I like about the polish is it’s color (vibrant red with a slight orange tint) and finish (high gloss cream jelly), but it needs at least three layers for full opacity and is slightly runny.

Mit beiden Lacken habe ich auf dem Mittel- und Zeigefinger einen Gradient mit Hilfe von einem Schwamm gemacht.

With both polishes I made a gradient on the middle and index fingers using a sponge.

Zum Stampen habe ich den weißen „Stamp me“ von Essence und eine Schablone von B. love plates verwendet. Die Marke habe ich erst vor kurzem entdeckt, habe direkt 3 Schablonen bei ihnen bestellt und bin mit der Qualität und der Motivauswahl sehr zufrieden. Die Schablone von heute heißt B02 „flower power“ und ich mag die Muster wirklich sehr. Die Images sind ziemlich groß (1,6 x 2,1 cm) und passen auch bei längeren Nägeln.

For stamping I used the white „Stamp me“ by Essence and a stamping plate by B. loves plates. I recently discovered this brand , ordered 3 stamping plates there and I am very satisfied with the quality and with the image selection . The plate I used today is B02 „flower power“ and I like the patterns very much. The images are quite large (1.6 x 2.1 cm) and fit also longer nails.

Kiko 373 „Burnt Sienna“, Mundo de Unas „Taupe“ & Marianne Nails 19

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

Ganz kurz meine „Nails of the day“. Da ich heute einen „halboffiziellen“ Termin hatte, musste der bunte Schmetterling leider ablackiert werden. Ganz auf Stamping wollte ich aber nicht verzichten und habe mich für ein Design in unaufgeregten Farben Braun und Beige entschieden.

Very briefly, my „Nails of the day“. Since I had a „semi-official „appointment today, I unfortunately had to remove my latest colorful butterfly design. But I did not want to abstain from stamping entirely and went for a  new design in unexcited brown and beige colors .

Der Basislack ist KIKO 373 „Burnt Sienna“ – ein hübscher milchschokobrauner Cremelack mit Goldschimmer. Zwei Schichten decken perfekt.

The base polish is KIKO 373 „Burnt Sienna“ – a pretty milk chocolate brown cream polish with gold shimmer. Two layers cover perfectly.

Für Stamping habe ich den „Taupe“ Lack von Mundo de Unas  und eine wunderschöne Schablone von Marianne Nails Nr. 19 verwendet. Florale Muster, Tribal Print, Zickzack-Muster, Ornamente  usw. – das sind Images, die bestimmt viele Geschmäcker treffen.

For stamping I used Mundo de Unas „Taupe“ polish and a beautiful stamping plate by Marianne Nails No. 19. Floral patterns, tribal print, chevron pattern, ornaments, etc. – these are images that certainly meet many tastes.

Butterfly Nails with Sally Hansen, El Corazon, Dance Legend, Essence and Born Pretty

Hi there,

von meinem letzten Libellen-Design direkt zu einem Schmetterlings-Design :-). Da das Wetter gerade so schön und frühlingshaft ist, wollte ich etwas farbenfroheres auf den Nägeln tragen und habe diesmal jede Menge Produkte benutzt. Die Hauptfarben sind „Mojito“ und „Tahitian Sunset“ von Sally Hansen.“Tahitian Sunset“ habe ich bereits hier , und „Mojito“ in diesem Post gezeigt. Wunderbare Lacke, die für den Frühling wie geschaffen sind. Darüber kam ein Topcoat von El Corazon – 421/5 „Dalmatian“. Es sind sehr feine matte schwarze Partikel in durchsichtiger Base. Ich mag diesen „Sprenkeleffekt“sehr und habe bereits einige Lacke, die eine ähnliche Wirkung haben. Jetzt bin ich richtig froh, dass ich dank diesem Topcoat „Dalmatiner“-Nägel in  allen möglichen Farben herzaubern kann.

from my latest dragonfly design directly to a butterfly design :-). Since the weather is so beautiful and really springlike, I wanted to have something more colorful on the nails, and this time I used a lot of products. The main colors are „Mojito“ and „Tahitian Sunset“ by Sally Hansen. I have shown „Tahitian Sunset“ here, and „Mojito“ in this post already. Wonderful polishes, that are perfect for spring. Over them I applied a topcoat by El Corazon – 421/5 „Dalmatian“. There are very fine matte black particles swimming in a transparent base. I like speckled nails very much and have already some polishes, that have a similar effect. Now I’m really glad , that  with this topcoat I am able to conjure „dalmatian“ nails in all colors.

Für den Mittelfinger habe ich über weißem „04 Snow alert!“ mit dem „Stamp me“ (beides von Essence) gestampt und das Motiv mit meinen neuen Lieblingen aus der „Top Coat Aquarelle“ Serie von Dance Legend „Levitan“ und „Tiziano“ „ausgemalt“. Es kommen mit Sicherheit noch weitere Designs mit Aquarelle Lacken – der kleine Maler in mir hat schon eine Ideen-Überflutung :-).

For the middle finger I  stamped over white“04 snow alert!“ with the black „Stamp me“ (both from Essence) and painted the stamping pattern with my new favorites from the „Top Coat Aquarelle“ serie of Dance Legend -„11 Levitan“ and „8 Tiziano“.  And there will certainly come even more designs with aquarelle polishes – the little painter in me already has an ideas flood :-).

Dragonfly Nails with Colors by llarowe „Blonde Ambition“ & Lesly LS-11

Hi there,

ich habe schon lange keine Hololacke mehr getragen – das wurde endlich nachgeholt. Auf die Nägel kam heute eine Schönheit aus meiner letzten Bestellung im Hypnotic Polish Shop – „Blonde Ambition“ von Colors by llrowe. Es ist ein wunderbarer Holo-Lack in Taupe mit Gold – / Bronzeshimmer, im natürlichen Tageslicht sieht es recht dezent aus, aber im Sonnenlicht (gab es heute leider nur ein paar Minuten) oder bei Kunstlicht ist es eine richtige Holobombe – kaum wiederzuerkennen. Man braucht zwei Schichten für die volle Deckkraft, der Pinsel ist super bequem und der Lack trocknet schnell – kurz zusammengefasst, ich bin verliebt. Hier mein Versuch, den Holoeffekt einzufangen.

I have not used holographic polishes for a long time and finally caught up on it. On the nails I am wearing today a beauty from my last order at Hypnotic Polish Shop – „Blonde Ambition“ of Colors by llrowe. It is a wonderful holographic nail polish in taupe with gold – bronze shimmer, in natural daylight it looks pretty decent, but in the sunlight (today there were unfortunately only a few minutes of it) or in artificial light it is a right holobomb – barely recognizable compared to the „decent“ version. You need two coats for full opacity, the brush is super comfortable and the polish dries quickly – in a nutshell, I’m in love. Here is my attempt to capture the holographic effect.

Carnival nails with P2, Essie, Mundo de Unas & MoYou

Hi there,

inspiriert von Karnevalsbildern aus Venedig, habe ich heute ein gold-blaues Karnevalsdesign. Ich hoffe, irgendwann mal dieses faszinierende und farbenfrohe Spektakel live in Venedig erleben zu können :-).

inspired by carnival pictures of Venice, I have a gold-blue carnival design today. I hope someday to be able to experience this fascinating and colorful spectacle live in Venice :-).

Als Basislack habe ich P2 220 „hyper“ genommen.  Es ist einer der ältesten Nagellacke in meiner Sammlung, ich bin aber mit ihm immer noch genauso zufrieden, wie beim ersten Lackieren. Es ist ein sehr schöner heller Goldton, der Lack lässt sich wunderbar und beinahe streifenlos auftragen (was öfters das Problem bei Metallics ist) und deckt mit zwei Schichten. Darüber habe ich mit dem Stamping Lack von Mundo de Unas „Iris“ das Wellenmotiv von der Schablone „Sailor Collection – 04“ gestampt.

As a base polish I took P2 220 „hyper“. It is one of the oldest nail polishes in my collection, but I’m still as happy with it as I was polishing it for the first time. It is a very beautiful bright golden color, the polish applies wonderfully and almost without streaks (which is often the problem with metallics) and covers with two layers. Then I used the stamping polish by Mundo de Unas „Iris“ and stamped the wave image from the plate“Sailor Collection – 04″ .

Auf den Akzent-Nagel kam der blaue „Butler please“ von Essie, den ich bereits in diesem Post gezeigt habe. Das gestampte Image ist von der Moyou Schablone „Explorer Collection – 13“, die mit ihren tollen Masken perfekt zum Thema passt. Zum Stampen habe ich „good as gold“ von Essie benutzt.

For the accent nail  I used the blue“Butler please“ by Essie, which I have already shown in this post. The stamped image is from the Moyou plate „Explorer Collection – 13″, which is perfect for the carnival theme, the mask images are amazing. For stamping I used“good as gold“  by Essie

Rose Nails with OPI „My vampire is buff“, Artdeco 410 and Pueen 64

Hi there,

Ich hoffe, Ihr hattet einen schönen Valentinstag. Für mich war das eher ein wunderbarer Familientag inkl. einer blumigen Überraschung morgens, eines langen Ausflugs zum Main mit meinem Mann und der Tochter und eines Dinners bei unserem Lieblingsitaliener.

I hope you had a nice Valentine’s Day. For me it was more of a wonderful family day incl. a flowery surprise in the morning, a long trip to the Main with my husband and daughter and a dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant.

Meine Nägel waren ziemlich „zurückhaltend“ an diesem Valentinstag: kein Rot, kein Pink und kaum Stamping. Ich habe als Grundlage für mein Mini-Design einen sehr dezenten Creme-Lack ausgewählt – „My vampire is buff“ von OPI. Es ist ein Beige-Ton mit einem gräulichen Stich. Man braucht zwei Schichten für die volle Deckkraft, der Pinsel ist super bequem, der Lack trocknet schnell und es macht richtig Spaß, die Nägel damit zu lackieren.

My nails were pretty decent this Valentines Day: no red, not pink, and barely stamping. I selected as the basis for my mini design a very soft cream polish – „My vampire is buff“ by OPI. It is a beige tone with a hint of grey. You need two coats for full opacity, the brush is super comfortable, the polish dries quickly and it is really fun to polish nails with it.

Auf den Mittelfinger habe ich eine Rose von der  Pueen 64 Schablone mit  dem Mundo de Unas Stamping Lack „Taupe“ gestampt und alle Nägel noch mit etwas Artdeco Glitter 410 geschmückt.

On the middle finger I stamped a rose from the stamping plate „Pueen 64“ with Mundo de Unas Stamping Polish „Taupe“ and „decorated“ all nails with some Artdeco 410 glitter.

Bird Nails with Maybelline „grey beats“ and Messy Mansion MM14

heute habe ich ein ganz einfaches Design mit einer meiner Lieblingsschablonen – Messy Mansion MM14.  So viele wunderschöne Vogelmotive auf einer Platte!

Gestampt habe ich mit Essence „Stamp me“ black über Maybelline 400 „grey beats“ aus der Colorshow Vinyl LE. Für mich ist es die perfekte Base für Nail Arts. Es ist ein sehr elegantes und dezentes Grau. Man braucht zwei Schichten für die Volle Deckkraft, es trocknet schnell und hat ein super interessantes semimattes Finish.

I stamped with Essence „Stamp me“ black over Maybelline 400 „grey beats“ from Colorshow Vinyl limited edition. For me, it is a perfect base for Nail Arts. It’s very elegant and delicate grey. You need two coats for full opacity, it dries quickly and has a very interesting semimatte finish.

Black and Gold Nails with KIKO 819, Accessorize „Gold Dust“ and Born Pretty BP-L 008

Hi there,

gestern kam ich endlich dazu, mich um die Nägel zu kümmern und ein neues Design zu kreieren. Diesmal ist es in Schwarz und Gold gehalten.

Yesterday I finally managed to take care of my nails and to create a new design. This time it’s in black and gold.

Als Basis habe ich für den Daumen, den Zeige- und den Mittelfinger den KIKO 819 „Black“ genommen. Ich habe den Lack zum ersten Mal verwendet und fand es beim Auftragen recht schön: sehr cremiges, pures Schwarz ohne Schimmer, welches in zwei Schichten perfekt deckt. Heute gab es allerdings schon die ersten Absplitterungen am Mittelfinger. Ich werde den Lack im Auge behalten und evtl. mit einem anderen Topcoat ausprobieren, um mir ein endgültiges Urteil zu bilden.

As a base I used KIKO 819 „Black“ for the thumb, index and middle finger. I’ve used this polish for the first time and found it quite nice when applying: very creamy, pure black without shimmer, which perfectly covers in two layers. Today, however, I saw first chips on the middle finger. I’ll keep an eye on the polish and possibly will try  it with another top coat to make a final judgment.

Auf den Ring- und den kleinen Finger kam der Lack von Accessorize „Gold dust“. Von der Textur würde ich es eher als einen goldfarbener Glitzer-Sandlack beschreiben. Man braucht zwei  – drei Schichten für die volle Deckkraft, die sehr schnell trocknen. Es sieht auf den Nägeln toll aus. Bei dem Lack gibt es leider auch ein „Aber“: wenn man das Fläschchen aufmacht, kommt einem sehr starker chemischer Geruch entgegen. Ich habe in meiner Sammlung nur einen Nagellack, der genauso riecht: Kleancolor „Chunky Holo Fuchsia“.

On the ring finger and the little finger I applied „gold dust“ by Accessorize. As for the texture, I would describe it as a golden glitter sand polish. It requires two – three layers for full opacity and dries very quickly. It looks great on the nails, but unfortunately it also has one disadvantage: when you open the bottle, a very strong chemical smell comes up. I have only one nail polish in my collection, that smells exactly the same –  Kleancolor „Chunky Holo Fuchsia“.

Für Stamping habe ich den goldenen Stamping Lack und die Schablone BP-L 008 von Born Pretty Store benutzt, die ich vor ein paar Wochen als Neujahrsgechenk von Born Pretty bekommen habe.  Das Lackfläschchen ist recht klein (6ml), mir reicht es aber definitiv für viele Monate, da der Verbrauch beim Stamping nicht so groß im Vergleich zum normalen Lackieren ist. Die schwierigste Aufgabe (Stamping über Schwarz) hat der Lack gemeistert, also werde ich ihn definitiv weiter verwenden.

For stamping I used the golden stamping polish and stamping plate BP-L008 from Born Pretty Store, which I got a few weeks ago as a new year’s gift from Born Pretty. The polish bottle is quite small (6ml), but it is enough for me for many months of use, as consumption in stamping is not so large compared to the normal polishing. This stamping polish mastered the most difficult task (stamping over black), so I will definitely use it further on.

Die Schablone von Born Pretty  BP-L 008  ist 6 x 12 cm groß, hat eine pinke Unterlage als Schutz vor scharfen Kanten und ist voll mit floralen Mustern. Die oberste Motivreihe kann ich mir sehr schön in farbenfrohen indisch-angehauchten Designs vorstellen, habe mich aber für eine schlichtere Variante in Schwarz und Gold entschieden. Die Motive lassen sich ohne Probleme auf die Nägel übertragen. Ich habe alle Muster auf Papier gestampt, bevor ich mich für meinen Favoriten entschieden habe.

The stamping plate BP-L008 by Born Pretty has dimensions of 6 x 12 cm. It has a pink plastic backing to protect against sharp edges and is full with floral patterns. I can very well imagine the images from the top row  in colorful Indian-inspired designs, but I decided to go for a simpler version in black and gold with one of these patterns. The images can be easily transferred to the nails. I stamped all the patterns on paper, before I chose my favourite one.

Pre-Valentine’s Day Nails with Essie and Bundle Monster

Hi there,

es sind genau zehn Tage bis zum Valentinstag, und ich bekomme jetzt schon Lust auf Herzen, Rosen, Tauben & Co. auf den Nägeln :-).

there are exactly ten days until Valentine’s Day, and I am already in the mood for hearts, roses, doves & Co. on the nails :-).

Die Grundlage für das heutige Design ist Essie’s „Lovie dovie“. Es ist ein perfektes, nicht zu übersehendes und in zwei schichten deckendes Barbie Pink.

The basis for today’s design is Essie ’s „Lovie dovie“. It is a perfect, conspicuous Barbie pink, opaque with two coats.

Da die Farbe an sich schon viel Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zieht, habe ich nicht mit vielen Mustern gespielt und habe kleine weiße Dreiecke von der Schablone Bundle Monster BM-606 mit Essence „Stamp me white“ gestampt. Für einen Akzent habe ich drei dünne Schichten Essie’s „Blanc“ auf den Ringfinger aufgetragen und ein Herz mit Konad „Pastel Pink“ gestampt. Benutzt habe ich dafür die Schablone BM-411.

As the shade itself attracts much attention, I have not played with many patterns and stamped small white triangles from Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-606 with Essence „Stamp me white“. For the accent I applied three thin coats of Essie ’s „Blanc“ on the ring finger and stamped  a heart with Konad’s „Pastel Pink“. For this, I used  stamping plate BM-411.

Peacock Nails with OPI, Claire’s, Essence, Artdeco & Bundle Monster

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

heute wollte ich ein Design mit dem „Junk“ von Claire’s  kreieren.  Ich habe diesen Topper bereits vor ein paar Monaten gekauft und bin bis jetzt noch nicht dazu gekommen, diesen aufzutragen. Heute wurde es endlich nachgeholt. „Junk“ ist ein Topper mit viel neon-pinkfarbenem Glitter in unterschiedlichen Größen. Ich finde, über Schwarz aufgetragen kommt er am Besten zur Geltung. Kombiniert habe ich ihn mit dem „Fatal“von Essence als Unterlage.

Today I wanted to create a design with „Junk“ by Claire’s. I bought this topper a few months ago and didn’t get around to apply it  yet. Today I finally did it. „Junk“ is a topper with a lot of neon pink glitter in different sizes. I think it shows up best over black, so I combined it with „Fatal“ by Essence as a base.

Dazu kam noch ein Design mit dem Stamping. Auf den Mittel- und den Ringfinger habe ich zwei Schichten von OPI „Kiss me on my Tulips“ aufgetragen und die Rosen mit der Bundle Monster Schablone BM-323 und dem Mundo de Unas Stamping Lack „Mexican Pink“ gestampt.  Als Akzent kam noch ein Pfau von der Schablone BM-015 dazu (gestampt mit Essence „Stamp me“ black und „geschmückt“ mit etwas Artdeco Glitter 410) .

Furthermore, I made a stamping design. On the middle and the ring finger I applied two coats of OPI „Kiss me on my Tulips“ and stamped roses with Bundle Monster’s stamping plate BM-323 and Mundo de Unas stamping polish „Mexican Pink“. The peacock from stamping plate plate BM-015 became an additional accent  (stamped with Essence „Stamp me“ black and „decorated“ with some glitter 410 by Artdeco ).

Wie Ihr seht, habe ich ziemlich viele Produkte verwendet, und es ist sehr viel los auf den Nägeln 🙂 . Ich hoffe trotzdem, Ihr mögt es.

As you can see, I used a lot of products and there is a lot going on  on my nails 🙂 Nevertheless, I hope you like it.
