für mein aktuelles Nagel Design habe ich als Basis „Colour Alike“ 512 verwendet. In diesen Nagellack war ich auf Anhieb verliebt. Es ist ein wunderschönes Türkisblau (und dazu noch Holo), trocknet schnell und deckt in zwei Schichten. Kombiniert habe ich es mit dem weißen „33 Wild white ways“ von Essence für den Akzentnagel.
for my latest nail design I used „Colour Alike“ 512 as a base. In this nail polish I was in love right away. It is a beautiful turquoise blue (and it’s holo!), dries quickly and covers in two layers. I combined it with the white „33 Wild white ways“ by Essence for the accent nail.
Danach habe ich mit dem „Pure Manicure“ von Dance Legend etwas experimentiert. Mittlerweile gibt es einige ähnliche Mittel auf dem Markt. Sie werden beim Lackieren oder bei Nail Arts wie Stamping, Water Marbling etc. auf die Nagelhaut aufgetragen und helfen nach dem Lackieren, die Nagellackreste von der Haut um den Nagel herum zu entfernen. Nach dem Auftragen bilden diese einen Schutzfilm auf der Haut, der später einfach (oder auch kompliziert 🙂 ) samt Lackresten abgezogen wird. Ich habe bis jetzt nur „Color stop“ von P2 und „Pure Manicure“ von Dance Legend ausprobiert und „Pure Manicure“ ist mein Favorit. Der P2 „Color stop“ hat einen extrem schmalen Pinsel, ist nach dem Trocknen durchsichtig und kaum von der Nagelhaut zu unterscheiden und reißt ständig beim Abziehen. „Pure Manicure“ von Dance Legend ist mintfarben, der Pinsel ist super bequem, es funktioniert tadellos und lässt sich in einem Zug abziehen, aber dieser Nagelhautschutz riecht extrem nach Ammoniak und ist mit 9,70EUR nicht gerade billig (gekauft habe ich es hier bei Hypnotic Polish).
After that, I was experimenting with the „Pure Manicure“ by Dance Legend. Meanwhile, there are some similar products on the market. You apply it when polishing your nails or doing nail arts like stamping, water marbling etc. to the cuticle and it helps, to remove the nail polish residues from cuticle and skin around the nail, when your design is finished. After applying, these skin protectors form a protective film, which can be peeled off later easily (or a bit complicated 🙂 ) together with the polish residues. I tried only „Color Stop“ by P2 and „Pure Manicure“ by Dance Legend so far and „Pure Manicure“ is my favorite. The P2 „Color Stop“ has an extremely narrow brush, is transparent after drying and it’s hard to distinguish it from the cuticle and to peel off in one go. „Pure Manicure“ by Dance Legend is mint-coloured, the brush is super comfortable, it works perfectly and can be removed quickly in one go, but this skin protector smells extremely of ammonia and is not cheap with its price of 9,70EUR (I bought it here in Hypnotic Polish shop).
Bei dem aktuellen Design habe ich „Pure Manicure“ nicht als Nagelhautschutz verwendet, sondern als Mittel, einige Nagel-Bereiche abzudecken, damit diese vom Stamping „unberührt“ bleiben. Und das hat „Pure Manicure“ richtig gut gemeistert. Das beste Beispiel ist der Ringfinger. Dort habe ich mit dem Jolifin Stamping Lack „Türkis Glitter“ zuerst den Hasen von der MoYou Schablone „Festive Collection – 10″ gestampt, Danach habe ich den Hasen mit „Pure Manicure“ und einem Dotting Tool ausgemalt, das Schutzmittel trocknen lassen und darüber noch mit Konad „Pastel Pink“ die Blüten von der Schablone „Pro Collection – 08“ gestampt. Mit einer Pinzette habe ich den Film abgezogen und hatte wie gewünscht einen weißen Hasen auf dem Nagel. Bei den anderen Nägeln wollte ich eine Art „Balken“ mit demselben Blütenmotiv wie auf dem Akzentnagel haben, habe dafür „Pure Manicure“ entlang der Nagelkontur aufgetragen, mit dem „Stamp me White“ von Essence darüber gestampt und den Schutzfilm wieder abgezogen.
In the current design, I have not used“Pure Manicure“ as a skin protection, but as a tool to cover some nail areas, so that they remain „untouched“ by stamping. And „Pure Manicure“ mastered that really well. The best example is the ring finger. There I stamped first with the Jolifin Stamping polish „turquoise glitter“ the bunny from the MoYou stamping plate „Festive Collection – 10″, then painted out the bunny with „Pure Manicure“ and a dotting tool, let it dry and stamped over it the flowers from the stamping plate MoYou „Pro Collection – 08“ with Konad „Pastel Pink“. Using tweezer I pealed off the film and had as I wanted a completely white bunny on the nail. For the other nails I wanted to have a kind of „bar“ with the same flower image as the accent nail. I applied“Pure Manicure“ along the nail contour, stamped with the „Stamp me White“ by Essence over it and removed the protective film again.
