Damask Nail Art with Anny, Born Pretty and Essence

Hi there,

diese Woche habe ich eine Schablone von Born Pretty Store ausprobiert, die ich als PR Sample vor kurzem bekommen habe – BP-L 007. Ich liebe Barockmuster und habe mich über diese Schablone besonders gefreut. Sie ist 12,5 x 6,5 cm groß und hat 15 Ganznagelmotive und 10 kleinere Images – jede Menge Vintage Muster und Symbole zum Austoben.

This week I tried out the stamping plate from Born Pretty Store, which I got as PR Sample recently – BP-L 007. I love baroque patterns and was particularly pleased by this plate. Its dimensions are 12.5 x 6.5 cm and it has 15 full-nail designs and 10 smaller images – lots of vintage patterns and symbols to play with.

Ich habe mich für eine pastellige Design Variante entschieden und drei Nagellacke dafür  verwendet: Colour intensifying Base 33 „wild white ways“ aus der neuen „the gel nail polish“- Reihe von Essence, 225 „lilac powder“ und 403 „blue fashion show“ von Anny. Als Erstes habe ich die Nägel mit dem weißen „wild white ways“ lackiert. Danach mit Hilfe eines Schwammes habe ich mit allen drei Nagellacken einen weiß-lila-grauen Gradient  gemacht. „Lilac powder“und „blue fashion show“ hätten einen separaten Post verdient: beide sind wunderschöne cremige Lacke, die sehr gut decken, einen tollen Glanz haben und schnell trocknen.

I went for a pastel design and used for it three nail polishes: Colour intensifying Base 33 „wild white ways“ from the new „The gel nail polish“- range by Essence, 225 „lilac powder“ and 403 „blue fashion show“ by Anny. First I polished my nails with the“wild white ways“. Then with the help of a sponge I made a white-lilac-gray gradient with all three nail polishes. „Lilac Powder“ and „blue fashion show“ deserve a separate post: both are beautiful creamy polishes, which cover very well, have a great shine and dry quickly.

Mit Essence „Stamp me“ white habe ich dann das klassische Damastmuster aus der mittleren Reihe links von der BP-L 007 Schablone gestampt. Ich liebe dieses Image und wurde auf das Design paar mal angesprochen (freu 🙂 ). Hoffe, es gefällt Euch auch.

With Essence „Stamp me“ white I then stamped the classic damask pattern from the middle row (left) of the BP-L 007 plate. I love this image and got complimented on the design several times (yay 🙂 ). Hope you like it too.

Birthday Nails with Models Own, Essence and Cici&Sisi

Hi there,

ich bin heute ein Jahr älter geworden und möchte Euch kurz mein kleines Geburtstags-Design mit viel Pink und Glitzer zeigen :-).

I’m a year older today and would like to show you my little Birthday nail design with lots of pink and glitter :-).

Verwendet habe ich dafür den Artstix Duo Polish „Blibble“ von Models Own. Das Duo besteht aus zwei 5ml Nagellacken: „Bubblegum“ und „Blizzard“. „Bubblegum“ ist ein knalliges Neon-Fuchsia-Pink, benötigt zwei Schichten für die volle Deckkraft und ist in der Kombi mit „Blizzard“ (Silber-Glitter in durchsichtiger Base) perfekt für Parties und Fun-Nail Arts (vorausgesetzt, Ihr mögt Pink).

For this, I used the Polish Artstix Duo „Blibble“ by Models Own. The duo consists of two 5ml nail polishes: „Bubblegum“ and „Blizzard“. „Bubblegum“ is a bright neon fuchsia-pink, needs two coats for full opacity and is in combination with „Blizzard“ (silver glitter in a transparent base) perfect for parties and Fun Nail Arts (as long as you like pink).

Zum Stampen habe ich das Schleifchen-Motiv von der Schablone „Cici&Sisi 10“ gewählt und dieses mit dem „Stamp me white“ von Essence gestampt. Hoffe, es gefällt Euch.

For stamping I used the image with lots of bows from the plate „Cici&Sisi 10“ and stamped it with Essence polish „Stamp me“ white. Hope, you like it.

Blue Lace Flowers with Born Pretty, Dance Legend & Mundo de Unas

Hi there,

direkt nach meiner großen Lieferung von Born Pretty Store aus dem letzten Post sind bei mir noch fünf weitere Stamping Schablonen aus der Nail Art  Abteilung von Born Pretty angekommen, aber diesmal als PR Samples zum Testen. Ihr seht schon, es wird ein Born Pretty Monat sein :-).

right after my huge delivery from Born Pretty Store, which I have shown in my previous blog post, five more stamping plates from Born Pretty nail art department arrived to me this week. But this time as PR samples for testing. As you can see, it will be a „Born Pretty – month“ 🙂 .

Die erste Schablone, die ich zeigen möchte, ist Y001. Sie ist 6 x 6 cm groß und hat zwei Spitzenmuster-Images und ein „Farbklecks“-Motiv in der Mitte. Da ich ein großer Spitzen-Fan bin, habe ich direkt mit dem Spitzenmuster angefangen.

The first plate, that I would like to show, is Y001. Its dimensions are 6 x 6 cm and it has two lace pattern images and a „splatter“ image in the center. Since I’m a big fan of lace, I started directly with the lace pattern.

Für dieses Design habe ich die Nägel zuerst mit Dance Legend 342 lackiert. Es ist ein sehr knalliger sommerlicher hellblauer Cremelack, der in zwei Schichten deckt. Danach habe ich das Muster mit Mundo de Unas 54 „Iris“ gestampt.

For this design I polished the nails with Dance Legend 342 first. It is a very bright  light blue summer cream nail polish, that covers in two coats. After that I stamped the lace pattern with Mundo de Unas 54 „Iris“.

Das Spitzen-Muster auf der Y-001 Schablone ist gut eingraviert und ließ sich problemlos übertragen. Ich habe zusätzlich noch ein paar blaue Strass-Steine platziert und mit dem Topcoat befestigt und bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden – hoffe, Ihr mögt es auch.

The lace pattern on Y-001 plate is well engraved and I could easily transfer it to the stamper and then from the stamper to my nails. I have also placed a few blue rhinestones and sealed them with the topcoat , and I am very happy with the result – hope you like it too.

Strawberry nails with Kiko, Born Pretty and Essence

Hi there,

ein ersehntes Päckchen von Born Pretty Store ist heute bei mir eingetroffen – juhu! Ich habe insgesamt über zwanzig Stamping Schablonen und ein paar Decals bestellt und habe jetzt jede Menge neue Spielsachen 🙂 . Und natürlich musste unbedingt heute noch ein Design damit kreiert werden.

Da ich gerade auf dem Obst-Trip bin, kam die „fruchtige“ Stamping Schablone Y004 mit süßem Erdbeer-Motiv als Erste zum Einsatz. Diese habe ich dann mit der Schablone BP-67 kombiniert. Das gewählte Motiv von der Schablone BP-67 erinnert mich irgendwie an Schokoladenfäden -mit Erdbeeren zusammen eine yummy Kombi 🙂 .

Since I’m in love with fruit nailarts lately, the „fruity“ stamping plate Y004  with sweet strawberry image was the first  one I tried. Then I combined it with the plate BP-67. The image I chose from the plate BP-67 reminds me of drizzled chocolate stripes – together with strawberriesa a yummy combination 🙂 .

Für mein Design habe ich drei KIKO Nagellacke verwendet: 853  „Pearly Light Yellow“, 488 „Pearly Golden Camellia“ und 297 „Acid Green“.  Zuerst habe ich als Basis „Pearly Light Yellow“ aufgetragen (ein helles Zitronengelb mit leichtem Schimmer, deckt in drei Schichten) und dann die Motive mit Essence „Stamp me black“ gestampt.

For my design, I used three KIKO nail polishes: 853 „Pearly Light Yellow“, 488 „Pearly Golden Camellia“ and 297 „Acid Green“. First I applied as a base „Pearly Light Yellow“ (a pale lemon yellow with a slight shimmer, covers in three coats) and then stamped the images with Essence „Stamp me black“.

Hier sehr Ihr das Ergebnis, hoffe, es gefällt Euch.

With „Pearly Golden Camellia“ and „Acid Green“ I painted out the strawberries using a Dotting tool. I have already shown „Pearly Golden Camellia“ in this blog post. „Acid Green“ is a lovely creamy apple green, covers in two layers and is a very pretty shade for the summer. Here is the the result, I hope you like it.

Pineapple Nails with Essence, Mundo de Unas and MJ

Hi there,

das Wetter draußen ist so toll, dass man automatisch Lust auf farbenfrohe Sommernägel bekommt. Bei mir sind es heute Ananas-Nägel geworden :-). Das Herz von meinem Design ist Essence 12 „mandarine bay“ – helles Orange, deckt in zwei Schichten und ist perfekt für den Sommer.

the weather outside is so nice, that you automatically desire colorful summer nails. In my case, these are pineapple nails today :-). The heart of my design is Essence 12 „Mandarin Bay“ – pale orange, covers in two coats and is perfect for the summer.

 Ich wollte mit diesem Lack etwas „fruchtiges“ kreieren und habe dafür die Stamping Schablone MJ XXXIX genommen – ein Mix aus Obst- und Gemüse Stamping Motiven für garantiert Gute-Laune-Designs.

I wanted to create with this polish something „fruity“ and chose the stamping plate MJ XXXIX – a mix of fruit and vegetable stamping images for guaranteed feel-good designs.

Gestampt habe ich mit dem Lack von Mundo de Unas „27 Neon yellow“ auf dem Mittel- und dem Ringfinger, und andere Nägel habe ich mit Strass-Steinchen verziert. Hoffe, es gefällt Euch.

Fairy Nails with Faby, Mundo de Unas, Dance Legend and Chez-Delaney

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

Inspiration für das heutige Design war der Lack von Faby „Nuit des Mystéres“ – ein  wunderschön schimmerndes, sehr gut deckendes, changierendes Grün-Blau, bei dem ich total ins Schwärmen gerate und an eine Märchenwelt unterm Sternenhimmel denken muss 🙂 .

Inspiration for today’s design was the nail polish by Faby „Nuit des Mystéress“ – a beautifully shimmering, very opaque, iridescent green-blue. I go into raptures every time I see it and   think about a fairytale world under the starry sky 🙂 .

Die Stamping Schablone „Féerique 004“ von Chez-Delaney passte perfekt zu meinem Vorhaben. Ich liebe diese filigranen und einzigartigen Images und habe von der Schablone das Motiv mit der kleinen Fee und die Sterne herausgepickt und diese mit dem Stamping Lack von Mundo de Unas „Cream“ über „Nuit des Mystéres“ gestampt. Danach kamen meine Aquarelle Lacke von Dance Legend zum Einsatz. Mit dem blauen „Botticelli“ habe ich ein paar Pinselstriche über die Fee und die Sterne gemacht und für die Blume habe ich den orangenen „Tiziano“ und den grünen „Levitan“ verwendet.

I love this delicate and unique images and picked out the image with the little fairy and the stars and stamped these with the stamping polish „Cream“ by  Mundo de Unas over „Nuit des Mystéres“. After  that I used my Aquarelle polishes by Dance Legend.  With the blue „Botticelli“ I made a few brush strokes over the fairy and the stars, and for the flower I used the orange „Tiziano“ and the green „Levitan“ .

Skull Nails with P2, Essence, Essie and Bundle Monster

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

heute kam bei mir der Lack von P2 „624 Final countdown“ zum Einsatz . Sein Name ist in meinem Fall wirklich treffend. Der Lack war schon seit ein paar Wochen in meiner Lackier-„Warteschlange“ und ich habe heute endlich geschafft, ihn aufzutragen. Es ist ein metallisches Grau-Grün, sehr deckend und ist im Vergleich zu den anderen Metallic-Lacken, die ich besitze, weniger streifig. Die Streifen, die da waren, ließen sich mit einer Schicht Topcoat kaschieren. Zuerst dachte ich bei dieser Farbe an ein Military-Design, herausgekommen ist dann doch etwas Richtung Gothic 🙂 . Schuld daran sind die Stamping Schablonen von Bundle Monster BM-413 und BM-323, die mir als erste in die Hände gekommen sind und eine komplett neue Design-Idee in Schwarz, Grün und Gold lieferten.  Hier sind die Design-Hauptdarsteller:

today I tested the nail polish by P2 „624 Final Countdown“. Its name is really aptly in my case. The polish has been on my „waiting list“ for a couple of weeks and today I finally managed to apply it. It is a metallic gray-green, very opaque and compared to the other metallic polishes that I own, less streaky. The streaks, that I had , could be concealed with a layer of topcoat. Seeing this color, I thought on a military design first, the result became something like Gothic nail art 🙂 . „Guilty“ are the stamping plates by Bundle Monster BM-413 and BM-323, which came to my hands and delivered a completely new design idea in black, green and gold . Here are the nail polishes I used:

Für beide Akzent-Nägel habe zuerst mit einem Schwämmchen „Good as Gold“ von Essie über „Final countdown“ getupft und dann mit Bundle Monster Schablonen und dem Essence Stamping Lack „Stamp me“ black den Totenkopf und die Spitze gestampt.

For both accent nails I first dabbed with a sponge „Good as Gold“ by Essie over“Final Countdown“ and then stamped with Bundle Monster plates and the Essence stamping polish „Stamp me black“ the skull and the lace.

Die anderen Nägel habe ich mit „Fatal“ von Essence lackiert und darüber eine Schicht von „Best Hip-Hop“ (ebenfalls von Essence) aus der „Rock out“ TE aufgetragen. Zum Schluss wurden die Augen vom Totenkopf mit ein paar Tropfen von „Best Hip-Hop“ „geschmückt“. Hier ist das Ergebnis, ich hoffe, Ihr mögt es.

I painted the other nails with „Fatal“ by Essence and applied over it a coat of „Best Hip-Hop“ (also by Essence)  from the „Rock Out“ Trend Edition. Finally, the eyes of the skull were „adorned“ with a few drops of „Best Hip-Hop“. Here is the result, I hope you like it.

Cat Nails with OPI, Mundo de Unas and Born Pretty

Hi there,

heute habe ich ein Gradient-Design (in Schwammtechnik) mit Stamping auf den Nägeln. Für das Gradient habe ich zwei OPI Nagellacke verwendet: „Are we there yet?“ und „Purple with a purpose“. „Are we there yet?“ ist ein Lachs/ orangefarbener Lack, er lässt sich problemlos auftragen und ist in zwei-drei Schichten deckend. „Purple with a purpose“ ist ein wunderschönes schimmerndes Lila, deckt in zwei Schichten und ist einer meiner Lieblings- Lila Nagellacke.

today I have a gradient design (done with sponge technique) and stamping on the nails. For the gradient I used two OPI nail polishes: „Are we there yet?“ and „Purple with a purpose“. „Are we there yet?“ is a salmon / orange nail polish, it applies easily and covers with two – three coats. „Purple with a purpose“ is a beautiful shimmering purple, covers in two coats and is one of my favorite purple nail polishes.

Der  Stamping Nagellack ist „1 White“ von Mundo de Unas.  Die Stamping Schablone ist von Born Pretty Store und heißt Born Pretty – 03. Es ist meine allererste Schablone, die ich bei Born Pretty Store gekauft habe. Das Design der Schablone hat sich seitdem (zum Besten) leicht verändert: die Anordnung der Images ist etwas anders und das Motiv in der Mitte ist größer geworden, Außerdem heißt sie jetzt BP-03. Ich liebe diese märchenhaften Motive , insbesondere das Kätzchen, und habe hier bereits ein Design mit dieser Schablone gezeigt.

The stamping nail polish is „1 White“ by Mundo de Unas. The stamping plate is from Born Pretty Store „Born Pretty – 03“. It is my very first plate that I bought at Born Pretty Store. Since then the design of the plate has been changed  (for good) slightly : the arrangement of the images is slightly different and the image at the center is larger. In addition, the plate’s name is BP-03. I love these fairy-tale motifs, especially the kitten, and have already shown a design with this plate here.

Paris Nails with Manhattan, China Glaze, Claire’s, Mundo de Unas & Marianne Nails

Hi there,

Unser Mini-Urlaub in Paris an diesem Wochenende war trotz bescheidenem Wetter einfach nur super: wir hatten echt Glück mit dem Hotel und ich habe die Stadt mit ihren breiten Avenuen und kleinen, verwinkelten Gassen, wunderschönen alten Palästen und modernen Wolkenkratzern in La Défense, Parks, unzähligen Cafes und Patisserien sofort in mein Herz geschlossen. Leider war die Zeit für unsere Entdeckungstour durch Paris sehr knapp. Wir kommen aber auf jeden Fall nochmal hin – das steht schon fest. Als eine kleine Erinnerung an die schönen Erlebnisse habe ich heute ein kleines Stamping-Design auf den Nägeln mit der Stamping Schablone von Marianne – Nails 51.

Our mini-vacation in Paris this weekend was (despite the cold weather) just amazing: we were lucky with the hotel and I immediately took  this city with its broad avenues and small, winding streets, beautiful old palaces and modern skyscrapers in La Défense, parks, countless cafes and patisseries into my heart. Unfortunately, the time for our Paris discovery tour was scarce. We will definitely come back again – this is already fixed. As a little memory of the wonderful weekend I have now a small nail stamping design with the samping plate by Marianne -Nails 51.

Die Basis ist der schwarze Lack mit dem silbernen Glitzer von Manhattan – „004 black trash“ aus der Bonnie Strange LE. Auf dem kleinen Finger ist „Pink-ie Promise“ von China Glaze aufgetragen. Beide Lacke mag ich wirklich: die Farben sind sehr schön, sie decken in zwei Schichten und trocknen schnell. Die Punkte und der Schriftzug „Paris“ sind gestampt mit Mundo de Unas Stamping Lacken „2 Black“ und „55 Orchid“. Für den Daumen, den Zeige- und den Ringfinger habe ich den Topper von Claire’s „Ditsy“ benutzt – ein Mix aus Glitter in Hellrosa, Weiß, Hellgelb und Blau. Hoffe, Ihr mögt es.

The base is the black nail polish with silver glitter by Manhattan – „004 black trash“ from the Bonnie Strange LE. On the little finger I applied „Pink-ie Promise“ by China Glaze. I really like both polishes: the colors are very nice, they cover in two layers and dry quickly. The dots and the word“Paris“ are stamped with Mundo de Unas Stamping polishes“2 Black“ and „55 Orchid“. For the thumb, index finger and the ring finger I used the toppers by Claire’s „Ditsy“ – a mix of glitter in light pink, white, light yellow and blue. Hope, you like it.

Black and Grey Nails with Colors by llarowe, Essence & Konad

Hi there,

ich möchte Euch heute einen tollen Lack zeigen – „Black Gold, Texas Tea“ von Colors by llarowe. Ich war so begeistert von dem Schätzchen, dass ich es  das ganze Wochenende lang solo getragen und erst heute mit einem kleinen Design „upgraded“ habe.  „Black Gold, Texas Tea“ ist ein schwarzer Holo-Lack, sehr deckend (braucht höchstens 2 Schichten für die volle Deckkraft) und lässt sich dank dem bequemen Pinsel super leicht auftragen. Es sieht in meinen Augen sehr extravagant und geheimnisvoll aus.

I ‚d like to show you today a great polish – „Black Gold, Texas Tea“ of Colors by llarowe. I was so thrilled about this beauty, that I worn it solo all weekend long and „upgraded“ it today with a small design. „Black Gold, Texas Tea“ is a black holo polish, very opaque (needs no more than 2 coats for full opacity) and applies easily thanks to the great brush. It looks very fancy and mysterious in my eyes.

Für das heutige Design habe ich den Mittel- und den Ringfinger mit meinem Essence All-Time-Favorite 142 „Grey-t to be here“ neu lackiert (hellgrauer Creme-Lack mit rosa Shimmer ) und mit dem Topcoat 25 „let stars rain down on me!“ (ebenfalls von Essence) noch mehr Funkeln ins Spiel gebracht. Ich würde nicht empfehlen, diesen Topcoat über Stamping zu verwenden; ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass es das Design verwischt, aber es ist eine wunderbare „Basis“ für Stamping Nailarts. Danach kamen die Strasssteinchen von Jolifin als Deko auf die Nägel und der Mittelfinger wurde mit dem Blumenmotiv von der  Konad-Schablone „Square Image Plate 01“ verziert (Stamping Lack – „Stamp me“ von Essence).

For today’s design, I polished the middle and ring finger with my Essence all-time favorite 142 „Grey-t to be here“  (light grey creme polish with pink shimmer) and put even more sparkle into play with the topcoat 25 „let stars rain down on me! „(also by Essence). I would not recommend this topcoat over stamping, I’ve learned that it can smudge the design, bit it is a great base for stamping nailarts. Then the rhinstones of Jolifin came as decorations on the nails and the middle finger was stamped with the floral image from Konad „Square Image Plate 01“ (I used stamping polish – „Stamp me“ black by Essence).
