Mint Flower Nails with NCLA, Mundo de Unas and Born Pretty

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hi there,

ich muss gestehen, ich liebe Sale. Und als ich zufällig einen Deborah Lippmann Nagellack, den ich schon länger bewundere, zum reduzierten Preis bei Niche Beauty entdeckt habe (und dazu noch weitere reduzierte Schätzchen, die ich mir zum Normalpreis höchstens zu besonderen Anlässen schenken lassen würde), musste ich zuschlagen. Drei Deborah Lippmann’s („Harem Silks from Bombay“, „Spring Buds“, „Build me Up Buttercup“) und ein NCLA Nagellack („Santa Monica Shore Thing“) sprangen in mein Einkaufskörbchen. Die beiden Brands hatte ich noch nicht in meiner Nagellacksammlung und bin nach dem ersten „Beschnuppern“ sehr zufrieden.

I must confess, I love sale. And as I discovered a Deborah Lippmann nail polish, which I have been admiring for a long time, at a reduced price at Niche Beauty (plus further discounted nail polish babies, that I probably would only wish as a present on special occasions at their full price), I had to to buy on the spur of the moment. Three Deborah Lippmann’s („Harem Silks from Bombay„, „Spring Buds“, „Build Me Up Buttercup„) and one NCLA nail polish („Santa Monica Shore Thing„) jumped into my shopping basket. I have not had these two brands in my nail polish collection and after the first „getting in touch“ I am very satisfied.

Heute ein Design in einem wunderschönen Mint Ton mit NCLA „Santa Monica Shore Thing“. Es ist ein sehr deckender Lack (2 Schichten genügen vollkommen) und die Nuance ist ein Traum – Mint, Türkis und Blau in einem, eine Art Tiffany-Grün. Ich wollte etwas Romantisches damit kreieren und habe mein Lieblingsstampingmotiv, nämlich Blumen gewählt. Die Stamping Schablone ist von Born Pretty Store und heißt „BPL-024„. Ich werde sie bestimmt oft verwenden – mir gefällt hier jedes einzelne Bild ohne Ausnahme. Als Stamping Lack nahm ich Mundo de Unas „34 Dark Gray“.

Today a design in a beautiful mint shade with NCLA „Santa Monica Shore Thing“. It’s a very opaque nail polish (2 coats are absolutely enough) and the color is a dream – mint, turquoise and blue in one, like a Tiffany green. I wanted to create something romantic and chose my favorite stamping image – flowers. The stamping plate I used is from Born Pretty Store and is called „BPL-024„. I will certainly use it often – I like here every single image without exception. As stamping polish I chose Mundo de Unas „34 Dark Gray“.

Oriental Nails with Nails inc., Essence and Messy Mansion

Hi there,

heute möchte ich Euch einen sehr herbstlichen Lack zeigen, den ich bei TK Maxx entdeckt und gekauft habe: „New Burlington Place“ von Nails Inc. Es ist ein Duochrome / Metallic Nagellack mit richtig viel Schimmer. Der Lack ist nicht stark deckend (ich habe drei dünne Schichten gebraucht), dafür lässt er sich wunderbar auftragen, trocknet schnell und bildet absolut keine Streifen, wie es bei den meisten Metallics der Fall ist. Cranberry. Bronze, Orange und Gold in einem – von diesem Farbspiel auf den Nägeln war ich absolut verzaubert.

today I’d like to show you a very autumnal nail polish, which I discovered and bought in TK Maxx store: „new burlington place“ by Nails Inc. It is a duochrome / metallic nail polish with lots of shimmer. The polish is not very opaque (I needed three thin layers), but it applies beautifully, dries quickly and is not streaky at all (as an opposite to the most metallics). Cranberry, bronze, orange and gold in one nail polish – I was absolutely enchanted by this play of colors on my nails .

Die Messy Mansion Stamping Schablone MM13 und „New Burlington Place“ waren ein ideales Paar in meinen Augen. Das Feuerwerk der warmen Farben war einfach eine perfekte Unterlage für diese prachtvollen orientalischen Muster. Als Stamping Lack habe ich Essence „Stamp me“ black verwendet.

The Messy Mansion stamping plate MM13 and „new burlington place“ were the ideal couple in my opinion. The fireworks of warm colors was a great base for these magnificent oriental patterns. As stamping polish I used Essence „Stamp me“ black.

Falls Ihr einen Tipp habt, wo man Messy Mansion Schablonen in Europa kaufen kann, wäre ich Euch sehr dankbar. Ich habe meine Schablonen schon vor einer halben Ewigkeit bei Messy Mansion direkt gekauft, in der Zwischenzeit liefern sie nicht mehr nach Deutschland. Jammerschade! Es gibt so viele neue Messy Mansion Platten mit traumhaften Mustern, an die man einfach nicht rankommt 😦

If you have a tip, where I can buy Messy Mansion stamping plates in Europe, I would be very grateful. I bought my plates at Messy Mansion directly some years ago, in the meantime, they do not deliver to Germany. What a pity! There are so many new Messy Mansion plates with fantastic patterns in store and there is no chance to buy them :-(.

Black and Gold Nails with Misslyn, Essence and MJ

Hi there,

ein Nageldesign aus meiner Urlaubszeit, und ich komme ich erst heute dazu, einen Post darüber zu schreiben (Asche auf mein Haupt 🙂 ).

Der Hauptdarsteller hier war Misslyn’s Sparkling Diamond Nail Polish 85G, den ich bereits in diesem Post gezeigt habe. Es sieht auf den Nägeln so edel aus, dass ich unbedingt etwas Schickeres damit kreieren wollte und mich für eine klassisch-glamouröse Farbkombi in Gold und Schwarz entschieden habe. Als schwarzen Stamping Lack habe ich Essence „Stamp me black“ verwendet.

The main actor here was Misslyn’s Sparkling Diamond Nail Polish 85G, which I have already shown in this post. It looks so classy on the nails, that I wanted to create something elegant and decided to use a classic glamorous colour combi in gold and black. As black stamping polish I used Essence „Stamp me black“ .

Tartan nails with Essence, A England and Konad

für mein aktuelles Nail Design habe ich diese zwei Lackbeauties verwendet: Essence „37 serendipity“ und A England „Tristam“.

„Serendipity“ ist ein wunderbares Flieder-Grau, die Farbe finde ich richtig schön und einzigartig. Die Deckkraft ist perfekt, man braucht maximal zwei Schichten beim Auftragen.

A England „Tristam“ ist einer der schönsten Lacke in meiner Sammlung. Es ist ein sehr pigmentiertes dunkles Blau mit feinem Schimmer, sieht auf den Nägeln richtig edel aus und ich liebe es einfach, diesen Lack zu tragen. Diesmal habe ich es zum Stampen verwendet und habe als Muster das Tartanmuster von der Stampingschablone Konad Square Image Plate 13 gewählt. Für Herbst- und Winterzeit sind Karomuster, die man auf der Schablone findet, echte Klassiker.

„Serendipity“ is a wonderful lilac-gray, I think, this color is really beautiful and unique. The opacity is perfect, you need to apply not more than two coats.

A England „Tristam“ is one of the most beautiful nail polishes in my collection. It is a very pigmented dark blue with fine shimmer, looks very classy on nails and I just love to wear it. This time I used it for stamping and chose as a pattern the tartan pattern from stamping plate by Konad „Square Image Plate 13“ For autumn and winter time the checked patterns on the plate are true classics.

Bis auf den Ringfinger habe ich alle Finger mit diesem Muster „bestempelt“. Bei dem Ringfinger habe ich zuerst einen Streifen diagonal mit dem Tesafilm „abgedeckt“, darüber gestampt und den Tesafilm wieder abgezogen. In die Mitte kam dann ein blauer diagonaler Streifen. Dafür habe ich wie in meinem vorherigen Design Striping Tape verwendet: zwei Stripes auf den Nagel geklebt, den „Zwischenraum“ mit „Tristam“ lackiert und das Tape abgezogen. Als Eyecatcher obendrauf kam noch ein Sticker mit Kettenmuster (den habe ich schon vor Ewigkeiten im Set mit einem Lack in Primark gekauft und finde endlich die Verwendung dafür 🙂 ). Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Wie gefällt es Euch?

Except for the ring finger I stamped all fingers with this pattern. On the ring finger I first „covered up“ one diagonal strip with the scotch tape, then stamped and peeled off the scotch tape. In the center came a blue diagonal strip. For that, I used as in my previous design striping tape: placed two stripes on the nail, filled in the“gap“ with „Tristam“ and peeled off the tape. As an eye-catcher on top of that came a sticker with chain pattern (I bought it ages ago in a set with one nail polish in Primark store and finally find the use for it 🙂 ). I’m very satisfied with the result. Do you like It?

Flower Nails with P2, Mundo de Unas and Bundle Monster

Hi there,

in meinem Herbstdekowahn diese Woche wollte ich auch auf Nägeln etwas herbstliches haben. Geworden sind es Nägel in beerigen Tönen von p2: „692 hurry up!“ und „070 insider’s diary“. „Hurry up!“ ist ein toller Fuchsia-Ton, recht knallig und sticht sofort ins Auge. Der Lack hat Creme-Finish und deckt in zwei Schichten. „Insider’s diary“ habe ich seit einem Jahr und liebe es sehr. Der Lack ist aus der Leather Matte-Reihe, und die Kombination aus dem Leder-Finish und der Farbe ist für mich Herbst pur: raues beeriges Dunkelrot, in zwei Schichten deckend.

in my autumn decoration mania this week I wanted to have something autumnal on my nails, too. It ended in berry shades nails with p2 polishes: „692 hurry up!“ and „070 Insider’s Diary“. „Hurry up!“ Is an amazing fuchsia shade, quite bright and catches the eye immediately . The nail polish has cream-finish and covers in two coats. As for „Insider’s Diary“, I bought it a year ago and love it very much. The polish is from p2 Leather Matte series, and the combination of the leather finish and the color is pure Autumn for me: rough dark berry red, covering in two coats .

Als Stamping Motiv habe ich die Blumen von der Bundle Monster Stamping Schablone BM-XL155 gewählt.

Für das Design habe ich alle Nägel mit „hurry up!“ lackiert, und auf dem Mittel- und Ringfinger Streifen mit „Insiders’s diary“ gemacht. Damit die Streifen gerade sind, habe ich Striping Tape verwendet: je drei Stripes pro Nagel geklebt, die „Zwischenräume“ mit „Insiders’s diary“ lackiert und das Tape wieder abgezogen. Zum Stampen habe ich den Mundo de Unas Stamping Lack „50 Pale Rose“ genommen. Danach kam eine Schicht Topcoat auf alle Nägel.

For this design I polished my nails with „hurry up!“ and made strips on the middle and ring finger with „insider’s diary“. To make strips straight, I used striping tape: I placed three strips per nail, painted the „gaps“ with „insider’s diary“ and peeled off the tape . For stamping I used Mundo de Unas stamping polish „50 Pale Rose“. Then I added a layer of topcoat on all nails.

Geeky Nails with Essence, Mundo de Unas, Dance Legend and Born Pretty

ich habe bei meiner letzten Born Pretty Store Bestellung wieder einige Stamping Schablonen gekauft – konnte den tollen neuen Motiven einfach nicht widerstehen. Eine von den Schablonen war die BPL-022 Stamping Platte mit „Geek“-Mustern, die ich diese Woche endlich ausprobiert habe.

with my latest purchase at Born Pretty Store I bought some stamping plates again – just could not resist those great new stamping images. One of the plates was the BPL-022 stamping plate with „geek“ patterns, that I finally tried this week.

Ich habe mich zuerst für ein simples schwarz-weißes Design entschieden und habe die Nägel mit dem weißen Essence „33 wild white ways“ lackiert und zum Stampen den Lack von Mundo de Unas „2 Black“ verwendet.

I first chose a simple black / white design and used the white Essence „33 wild white ways“ as a base and Mundo de Unas „2 Black“ for stamping.

Am nächsten Tag habe ich dann noch etwas mit den bunten Topcoats aus der Aquarelle-Reihe von Dance Legend experimentiert und habe meine schwarz-weiße „Malvorlage“ farbig gemacht. Gefällt Euch das Ergebnis?

The next day, I experimented with the colorful Aquarelle topcoats by Dance Legend a bit and painted out my black and white „coloring picture“. Do you like the result?

Purple „Cracked earth“ nails with Konad, Essence, Catrice and hehe 019 (Lady Queen Shop)

heute ein Nail Design mit der zweiten Stamping Schablone, die ich von Lady Queen Shop zum Testen bekommen habe. Es handelt sich um die Stamping Schablone hehe 019.

Die Schablone ist ein Mix aus vier Ganznagelmotiven für unterschiedliche Geschmäcker – von Blumenprint bis zum Azteken-Muster. Die Motive eignen sich auch für längere Nägel: die Abmessungen der Motive sind 2,5 x 2,5 cm. Die Schablone kostet $2.99, der weltweite Versand ist kostenlos.

Als „Unterlage“ für Stamping habe ich einen Gradient aus Essence „Indian Summer“und Catrice „Magical Nude“ gemacht und habe mit dem Konad Stamping Lack in Dunkellila aus dem letzten Blogpost gestampt.

Mich hat am meisten das Motiv unten rechts auf der Schablone interessiert. Ich nenne es mal „Wüstenerden“- Motiv. Mit dem Übertrag des Motivs von der Schablone auf den Stamper war ich ziemlich zufrieden und mag das Endergebnis. Ihr auch?

I was most interested in the image at the bottom right on the plate. I’ll call it „desert cracked earth“ image. I was pretty satisfied with the image transfer from the plate to the stamper and like the final result. Do you like ot, too?

Butterfly Nails with OPI, Konad & Hehe (Lady Queen)

Hi there,

das erste Lebenszeichen von mir nach dem langen Heimaturlaub 🙂
Dieses Jahr war der Urlaub pures Eintauchen in die Vergangenheit – alles dank ein paar unerwarteten Begegnungen mit alten Freunden, die ich schon seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr gesehen habe. Und hier noch ein paar russische Landschaften für Euch (und für mich selbst als Erinnerung).

This year the holiday became a true immersion in the past thanks to a few unexpected encounters with old friends which I have not seen for ages. And here are a few russian landscapes for you (and for me as a memory).

Lacktechnisch bin ich um ein paar OPI’s, Sally Hansen’s und El Corazon’s reicher geworden, da diese in Russland um einiges günstiger waren. Für Stamping Begeisterte ist das Angebot dort auch größer als in Deutschland: ich habe in mehreren Geschäften Stamping Schablonen und Stamping Lacke gesehen, die man in Deutschland nur online bekommt. Mitgenommen habe ich allerdings „nur“ zwei große Konad Stamping Platten und einen auberginefarbenen Konad Stamping Lack, dessen Bezeichnung ich leider nirgendwo auf der Verpackung finden konnte (das Einzige, was auf dem Flaschenboden steht, ist „13“). Diesen Stamping Lack wollte ich unbedingt in der Kombination mit dem wunderschönen mintfarbenen (auch in Russland gekauften) OPI’s „That’s Hula-rious!“ ausprobieren.

As for nail polishes, I bought in Russia a couple of OPI’s, Sally Hansen’s and El Corazon’s, as they were a lot cheaper there. For stamping fans the offer in Russia is even bigger than in Germany: in several stores I saw stamping plates and stamping polishes, which you can get in Germany only online. I bought „only“ two large Konad image plates and an eggplant-colored Konad Stamping polish, whose „official“ name I unfortunately could not find anywhere on the packaging (the only thing that is on the bottom of the bottle is „13“). And I badly wanted to test this stamping polish in combination with the beautiful mint-colored (also purchased in Russia) OPI’s „That’s Hula-rious!“„

Eine andere angenehme Überraschung war nach meinem Urlaub ein Päckchen mit zwei Stamping Schablonen vom Internet Shop „Lady Queen„. Ende Juni hat mich Perlie von Lady Queen angeschrieben und gefragt, ob ich deren Produkte reviewen würde. Ich habe bereits einige positive Reviews zu diesem neuen Shop gesehen und habe mich sehr gefreut, neue Brands testen zu dürfen. Verkauft werden auf Lady Queen’s Seite Nail Art Sachen, Schmuck, Taschen, Makeup etc. Ich war natürlich besonders an dem Nailart Zubehör interessiert und habe direkt Hehe-Stamping Schablonen entdeckt, die für mich absolut neu waren. Die erste von den zwei, die ich gewählt habe, habe ich nun ausprobiert und bin sehr zufrieden.

Another pleasant surprise after my vacation was a packet with two stamping plates from the Internet Shop „Lady Queen„. At the end of June Perlie from Lady Queen had written to me and asked if I would like to review their products. I have already seen some positive reviews about this new shop and was very happy to test new brands. On Lady Queen’s website you can buy Nail Art items, jewelry, bags, makeup etc. Of course I was especially interested in the nail art accessories and directly discovered Hehe stamping plates, which were absolutely new to me. The first of two plates, that I had chosen, I tried now and I am really satisfied with it.

Es geht um die Stamping Schablone hehe 004. Gerade ist diese reduziert und kostet $2.39. Der weltweite Versand ist im Shop kostenlos. Die Schablone kommt mit einer blauen Schutzfolie, die man vor dem Gebrauch abzieht. Die Schablone hat einen Durchmesser von 5,5 cm und es sind insgesamt 4 Motive darauf (ich als Fan von floralen, zarten Images und Ornamenten war direkt in sie verliebt).

Für das Naildesign im heutigen Blogpost habe ich zwei Motive rechts verwendet und finde, sie passen sehr gut zusammen. Ich hatte keinerlei Probleme beim Übertragen, und das Ergebnis gefällt mir richtig gut. Besonders der Schmetterling hat es mir angetan 🙂 .

For the nail design in today’s blogpost I used two right images and think, they fit very well together. I had no problems when transferring the image, and really like the result. Especially the butterfly stole my heart 🙂 .

Peacock Nails with Essence & Born Pretty

Hi there,

heute habe ich mit der Stamping Schablone BP-30 (PR Sample von Born Pretty Store) gespielt und verschiedene Designs ausprobiert. Mein Lieblingsdesign möchte ich Euch gerne zeigen.

Today I played with stamping plate BP-30 (PR Sample from Born Pretty Store) and tried out different nail designs. I ‚d like to show you the favourite one.

Insgesamt hat die Schablone 4 Ganznagelmotive und 4 kleinere Images. Das Blätter-Motiv und das Pullover-Zopfmuster-Image sind 15 x 18 mm groß und das Federmuster und das geometrische Muster unten sind 15 x 21 mm groß. Die Schablone finde ich sehr gut: alle Images lassen sich problemlos übertragen. Das Pfauenfedermotiv ist mein Liebling geworden.

In total, the plate has 4 full-nail designs and 4 smaller images. The image with the leaves and the braid sweater pattern are 15 x 18 mm and the feather pattern and the geometric pattern below are 15 x 21 mm. I think, the plate is really good: all images can be easily transferred. The peacock’s feather image became my favorite.

Ich denke, am besten sieht dieses Motiv in der Kombination mit metallischen Stamping Lacken oder einer auffälligen Base aus. Reverse Stamping, bei dem man das Motiv direkt auf dem Stamper in verschiedenen Farben ausmalen kann, wäre auch eine tolle Alternative. Ich habe mich für die auffällige Base entschieden und habe meinen alten Essence „04 Super, Man!“ aus der Superheroes LE herausgeholt. Der Lack gehört definitiv zu meinen Top 10 Nagellacken: ich sehe zwar keinen beworbenen Holo-Effekt, aber das bunte Glitzern in der silbernen Base ist ein Traum :-). Außerdem deckt der Lack mit zwei Schichten und trocknet schnell.

I think, this image looks most beautiful in combination with metallic stamping polishes or a conspicuous nail polish as a base. Reverse stamping, where you can paint out the image directly on the stamper in different colors, would also be a great alternative. I opted for the flashy base and got out my old Essence „04 Super, Man!“ from the Superheroes LE. The polish is definitely one of my top 10 nail polishes: Although I do not see advertised holographic effect, but the colorful sparkle in a silver base is a dream :-). In addition, the polish covers with two coats and dries quickly.

Gestampt habe ich mit dem Essence „002 Stamp me! black“ und habe danach noch das Design in eine Halbmond-Maniküre verwandelt. Dafür habe ich die French Nail Sticker verwendet (No-Name, vor Jahren bei Ebay gekauft). Diese habe ich auf die Nägel geklebt, so dass der spätere Halbmond offen war und den Halbmond mit einer Schicht Essence „Fatal“ schwarz ausgemalt. Direkt danach (noch bevor der schwarze Lack trocken war), habe ich die Sticker wieder abgezogen. Hier ist das Ergebnis, ich hoffe, Ihr mögt es.

I stamped the image with Essence „002 Stamp me! Black“ and after that „transformed“ the design in a half-moon manicure. For that, I used the French Nail Sticker (noname, bought them years ago on ebay). These I placed on the nails, so that the later half-moon was open and painted it out in black with a layer of Essence „Fatal“. Immediately after that (before the black polish was dry), I peeled off the sticker. Here is the result, I hope, you like it.

Pineapple Nails with Essence, Mundo de Unas and MJ

Hi there,

das Wetter draußen ist so toll, dass man automatisch Lust auf farbenfrohe Sommernägel bekommt. Bei mir sind es heute Ananas-Nägel geworden :-). Das Herz von meinem Design ist Essence 12 „mandarine bay“ – helles Orange, deckt in zwei Schichten und ist perfekt für den Sommer.

the weather outside is so nice, that you automatically desire colorful summer nails. In my case, these are pineapple nails today :-). The heart of my design is Essence 12 „Mandarin Bay“ – pale orange, covers in two coats and is perfect for the summer.

Ich wollte mit diesem Lack etwas „fruchtiges“ kreieren und habe dafür die Stamping Schablone MJ XXXIX genommen – ein Mix aus Obst- und Gemüse Stamping Motiven für garantiert Gute-Laune-Designs.

I wanted to create with this polish something „fruity“ and chose the stamping plate MJ XXXIX – a mix of fruit and vegetable stamping images for guaranteed feel-good designs.

Gestampt habe ich mit dem Lack von Mundo de Unas „27 Neon yellow“ auf dem Mittel- und dem Ringfinger, und andere Nägel habe ich mit Strass-Steinchen verziert. Hoffe, es gefällt Euch.
