Hi there,
in den letzten Monaten habe ich ganze vier Liebster Blog Awards bekommen :-). Vielen, vielen Dank an Irma von Irmas Lackwiese, Katha von Nailartprinzessin, Sophia von Polished Casual und meine liebe Chillkröte Doris von Heavythrillingpolish !!! Was gibt es Schöneres für einen Blogger, als zu wissen, dass seine Posts gelesen werden und dass man sie gut findet?
In recent months I received whole four „Liebster Blog Awards“ („liebster“ means „dearest“ in German) :-). Many, many thanks to Irma from Irmas Lackwiese, Katha from Nailartprinzessin, Sophia from Polished Casual and my dear Doris from Heavythrillingpolish !!! What could be better for a blogger than to know, that people read his/her blog posts and like them?
Liebster Blog Award wird von Bloggern an Bloggern verliehen. Es werden Lieblingsblogs ausgezeichnet, die weniger als 250 Follower haben. Zusammen mit dem Award bekommt man Fragen gestellt, beantwortet diese und reicht die Nominierung mit eigenen Fragen an andere Lieblingsblogger weiter.
Liebster Blog Award is given to bloggers by other bloggers. It is intended for favorite blogs, that have less than 250 followers. Along with the award you receive questions, answer these and pass the nomination with your own questions to your favorite bloggers.
Heute werde ich also kein neues Design zeigen, sondern die Fragen von Mädels beantworten. Da es ziemlich viele sind, wird es zwei Blogposts dazu geben. Habt Ihr Interesse? Therefore, today I will not show any new design, but will try to answer the girls‘ questions. Since there are quite a lot of them, there will be two blog posts. Are you interested? 1. Warum bloggt ihr? // Why do you blog?
Mein Blog ist für mich (wie sein Name schon sagt) eine Art Nailart-Tagebuch. Ich blättere gerne durch, schaue zurück und erinnere mich gerne daran, wie die Nailarts und die Fotos entstanden sind. Als ich mit diesem Online-Tagebuch angefangen habe, war ich nicht sicher, ob meine Stamping-Kreationen für andere interessant sein werden und ob noch jemand außer mir meine Posts lesen wird. Jetzt, fast ein Jahr später, bin ich glücklich, dass ich dank dieser Plattform Gleichgesinnte gefunden habe, einiges an neuen Kontakten knüpfen konnte und positives Feedback bekomme. Eure Besuche, eure lieben Kommentare und solche großartigen Zeichen der Anerkennung wie z.B. diese vier Awards sind für mich ein Treibstoff zum Bloggen und ein Ansporn weiterzumachen.
My blog is a sort of nail art diary for me (as its name suggests). I like to flip through it, to look back and to remember how the nailarts were born and the photos were taken. As I started with this online diary, I was not sure, if my stamping creations will be interesting to others and if anyone besides me will read my posts. Now, almost a year later, I am happy that I found thanks to this platform like-minded people, was able to make a lot of new contacts and get positive feedback. Your visits, your kind comments and such magnificent token of appreciation like these four awards are a fuel for blogging and a spur to continue for me.
2. Was wünscht ihr euch von/für eurem Blog? // What do you wish from/ for your blog?
Mit meinem Blog mehr Menschen in den Nailart-Bann ziehen 🙂 .
Ausserdem wünsche ich mir persönlich, dass ich endlich mal lerne, vernünftige Fotos zu machen, um den Blog schöner und professioneller zu gestalten. Weiß jemand, ob es Fotokurse für Nail-Blogger gibt? 🙂 Für Eure Fototipps oder Links zu „Fotogeheimnissen“ anderer Blogger wäre ich soooooooo was von dankbar.

I personally wish, I could finally learn to take reasonable pictures to make the blog more beautiful and professional. Does anyone know, if there are photography courses for nail bloggers? 🙂 I would be soooooooo grateful for your photo tips or links to“photo secrets“ of other bloggers.
3. Von wo aus bloggt ihr (am liebsten)? // From where do you blog (preferably)?
Habe keine spektakuläre Location. Ich blogge von zu Hause, nämlich vom Arbeitstisch im Wohnzimmer. Meistens abends, wenn alle anderen Tagesaufgaben erledigt sind, unsere kleine Tochter eingeschlafen ist und ich Zeit für mich alleine habe.
It’s not a spectacular location. I blog from home, namely from the work table in the living room. Mostly in the evening, when my daily to-do list has been completed, our little daughter has fallen asleep and I have time for myself .
4. Was sind eure liebsten Nagellackfarben? // What are your favourite Nail polish colours?
Ich experimentiere ständig mit Farben quer durch die Farbpalette und habe mehrere Lieblinge: Pink, Blau, Mint/Grün, Silber, Grau, Schwarz und alle Pastellfarben.
I’m experimenting constantly with colors across the color palette and have several favorites: pink, blue, mint / green, silver, gray, black and all pastel colors.
5. Wie bewahrt ihr eure Nagellacke auf (gerne auch Bilder)? // How do you store your nail polish (pictures as well)?
Meine Sammlung ist in den letzten Jahren extrem gewachsen, so dass ich mir einen (von vielen hoch gepriesenen) Helmer von Ikea zugelegt habe. Sortiert sind dort die Lacke nach Farben. Ausserdem habe ich ein Regal nur für die Stamping Nagellacke und noch ein „Körbchen“ für Lacke, die ich noch nicht einmal getragen habe. Bitte nicht erschrecken – es sind viele! 🙂
My collection has been extremely grown in recent years, so I got myself a (highly praised by many bloggers) Helmer from Ikea. The nail polishes are sorted there by color. I also have a shelf only for stamping nail polishes and a „basket“ for polishes, which I have not even worn. Please do not scare – these are many of them! 🙂
6. Hattet ihr schon einmal das Problem, dass ihr nicht wusstet, was ihr schreiben sollt (über längere Zeit)? // Did you have the problem not to know what to write about (during a longer period of time)?
Noch nicht… Eher habe ich das Problem, dass ich Nailarts kreiere, die mir dann auf den Fotos doch nicht gefallen und die ich nicht poste. Wenn es z.B. zwei Designs und mehr hintereinander sind, kommt es dann schon zu größeren Abständen zwischen den Blogartikeln und einer leichten Frustphase bei mir.
Not yet … I rather have the problem, that I make nailarts, which I do not like after seeing the result on the photo and do not post. If, for example, these are two and more „failed“ nail designs behind the other, it comes to large intervals between blog articles and a slight frustration phase in my blogger’s life.
7. Welche Hobbys habt ihr (neben dem bloggen)? // What hobbies do you have (apart from blogging)?
– Klavier (genauer gesagt, hier in Frankfurt ist es ein Digital Piano, im Elternhaus steht mein altes, aber geliebtes „echtes“ Klavier)
– Stephen King Bücher :-).
– Piano (to be exactly, here in Frankfurt it’s a digital piano, in my parent’s house is my old, but beloved „real“ piano)
– Stephen King books :-).
8. Welche Beautymarke habt ihr am liebsten? // Which beauty trademark is your favorite?
Wenn ich mir meine gesamte Kosmetik-Sammlung anschaue, ist es eher MAC – ich liebe deren Lidschatten, Blushes und Lippenstifte. Wenn es nur um die Nagellacke geht, ist es schwer einen Favoriten zu nennen. Bei den „technischen Charakteristiken“ (Pinsel, Auftrag, Deckkraft, Trockenzeit) bin ich am meisten von OPI und Sally Hansen überzeugt, habe aber jede Menge Lieblinge von anderen Brands.
When I look at my entire cosmetics collection, I would say, MAC – I love their eye shadows, blushes and lipsticks. If it’s a question about nail polishes, it’s hard to name a favorite. In the „technical characteristics“ (brush, application, opacity, drying time) I am most satisfied with OPI and Sally Hansen, but have a lot of favorites from other brands.
9. Wieso hast du deinen Blog so genannt wie du ihn genannt hast? // Why did you name your blog as it is named?
Dass Stamping meine Leidenschaft ist, habt Ihr wahrscheinlich schon festgestellt. Und die Geschichte mit dem Tagebuch kennt ihr bereits aus der Frage Nr. 1.
You have probably already noticed, that stamping is my passion And the story about the diary you already know from the question no. 1.
10. Liest du gerne andere Blogs und holst dir Inspirationen von ihnen? // Do you like reading other blogs and do you often get inspiration by them?
Ich lese unheimlich gerne andere Blogs, leide aber gerade am chronischen Zeitmangel :-(. In der letzten Zeit ist es aus Zeitgründen leider eher so, dass ich die Meisterwerke von anderen Bloggern und Ereignisse aus ihrem Leben in geballter Kraft nur auf Instagram verfolge und bewundere.
I love to read other blogs, but at the moment I am suffering from chronic lack of time :-(. Lately, because of this lack of time, I rather have been following and admiring the masterpieces of other bloggers and moments from their life in concentrated power on Instagram only.

2. Fünf Dinge, ohne die du nicht leben kannst? // Five things you cannot live without?
Eins vorweg: meine Familie ist mir am wichtigsten, Rest ist zweitrangig. Wenn ich 5 materielle Dinge wählen müsste, wären es: Nahrung, Klamotten, internetfähiges Handy, Klavier und Tangle Teezer 🙂 .
Beforehand, my family is most important to me, rest is secondary. If I had to choose 5 material things, they would be: food, clothes, Internet-enabled mobile phone, piano and Tangle Teezer :-).
3. Was sind deine drei liebsten Lacke? // Your three favotite nail polishes?
Drei, die die meisten Erinnerungen hinterlassen haben / Three that have left most memories

4. Was ist dein Lieblingsgericht? (Gern mit Rezept!) // What is yout favorite dish? (if you like, with recipe!)
Ich backe diese Erdbeer-Joghurt-Torte schon seit Jahren und liebe sie sehr. Mit 1 Teelöffel Backpulver gelingt der Boden besser, als im Originalrezept (meiner Meinung nach). Backzeit ist ca. 15 Minuten. Beim Belag habe ich schon mit allerlei Joghurt Sorten experimentiert: Erdbeerjoghurt, Kiwi-Joghurt, Stracciatella-Joghurt etc. – schmeckt immer super, man sollte dann nur nach Geschmack die Zuckermenge und Zitronensaftmenge reduzieren.
I bake this strawberry yoghurt cake for years and love it . With 1 teaspoon of baking soda the cake bottom is better than in the original recipe (in my opinion). Baking time is about 15 minutes. As for topping, I’ve experimented with all kinds of yogurt : strawberry yogurt, kiwi yogurt, stracciatella yoghurt etc. – it always tastes great, you just should reduce the amount of sugar and lemon juice to your taste.
5. Hast du ein Vorbild? Nicht nur auf Nägel bezogen! // Do you have your role model? Not only nail-related!
Ich möchte doch meinen persönlichen Stern und mein Vorbild in Sachen Nägel erwähnen: Sveta Sanders. Sehr gepflegte Hände, makellose Manis, wunderschöne Swatches und kreative Nailarts mit brillanten Fotos und Videoanleitungen – Perfektion bis ins Detail!
Anyhow, I just should mention my personal star and my role model, when it comes to nails: Sveta Sanders. Perfectly cared hands, flawless manicures, beautiful nail polish swatches and creative nailarts with brilliant pictures and video tutorials – perfection in every detail!
